My rabbit gave birth. People tell me not to touch it because the stench of human scent will kill it. I read that, that was true. How long does it take before we can touch the baby rabbit?

I'm writing a book and this is something I need to know.

Is there a certain disease that is very common in Palominos that they could die from? If so, is it possible for, say, 5 palominos on one farm to get it at once? Can you give me a link to a site that explains it more?

No stupid answers please!

I know someone who has a small pomerian dog that lives only outside in weather that gets below freezing. The dog has no shelter except a cardboard box with a u-haul blanket. What would you call this kind of person?

Ok... well I just bought a dwarf hamster, and she's very kind and she doesn't really nip or anything and all that other good stuff. The only problem I have with her is she runs on her wheel ALL night. From about 10 pm to 7 am. I do have another hamster, and he used to do the same thing, except I didn't have to deal with him since he wasn't in my room. Now he's just old and he doesn't care to run so it's not an issue. But here's my question; is it okay to take her wheel out at night if I let her run around on it for a few hours and then put her in her ball so she can run around on the floor? Is it really necessary for her to be running on it for 9 hours straight? If so, then is there any alternative I can try instead of taking her wheel out?

I was vacuuming around my hamsters cage, trying to clean up all the bedding and shavings that had fallen out the cage, and I didn't realize that the door was open, and he came up and it sucked him inside. It's one of those vacuums with the tubes that come out, and you can take the end part off. So he's sucked inside ... what do I do?

My rabbits keep chewing the edges of the carpet and scratching it, ripping you, things like that. I give them toys, snacks, all that stuff for their cages but they both still misbehave. Is there anything I can put on the carpets that will make them stop doing what they're doing?!

My neighbors dog decided to live with us about five months ago, she's an 11 year old beagle. Recently my other neighbors dog has been coming in my yard and pooping beside the corn pile where we feed the deer. Our dog, Truly, then rolls in it. She hates baths, and we've been having to bath her at least once a week which I know is not good fr her coat and it makes me really upset.

What can we do about the other dog pooping in our yard (he's not a nice dog, he chases people when they walk by and barks and growls. He's a a huge dog.) and what can we do with Truly to make sure this stops?

Something else that as been going on is the neighbor across the street has been throwing rocks at dogs when they walk by. They can be with their owner, running a little bit ahead, and he yells at them and throws rocks. We also suspect he kicks dogs when they get in his yard.

We live in a nice neighborhood and don't want to start any drama between the different residents.

I have a 7 year old Labrador Retriever. My whole house downstairs is harwood floor, do to allergies in the house and everytime he's downstairs (main living spot) he is scared to walk on the hardwood floor and even sometimes falls! All day he's been upstairs on the carpet (were he's not suppose to be) or when he does come downstairs he runs to the nearest rug! We have his nails cut all the time, but we're starting to discover his nails aren't the problem.

Has anyone had a dog that is or has done this before?

We have a mouse in our house and we don't know where it is. We saw that he was in our kitchen cabinet by the trash, obviously looking for food, Where could he have headed now? My biggest concern is that he's away from where I'll be and in my bedroom.

Hey guys, I noticed that my gerbil's ear has been flattened for a day or two when I petted him, I didn't think much of it at first (he usually flattens my ears when I pet him) until I saw him running around his playbox this morning, and it was still flattened. I looked closer and the top of his ear is red and there is some dried blood on the bottom of the outside of his ear, and some yellowish-bloody stuff inside. I am planning to take him to the vet immediately, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and what caused it?
Again, I'm not substituting this for going to the vet, I'm DEFINITELY taking him, but I just kinda would like to know what I might be dealing with. Thanks!!

*I took this down before because I needed to re-edit it*
