I leave him out alot and I have got him to use newspaper most of the time (he won't use a litter box) But when he doesn't use the paper he always uses the corner by my door. I know it has alot to do with the smell so I probably need to steam clean it or something. But is there anything I could put there to keep him from going there? Or anything else I could do?

I dun get it. He was ok yesturday and suddently it just died?!?!

There was no signs at all and the rabbit was perfectly healthy. Can someone please tell me what I have done wrong? I placed 3 lion head bunnies in a very large outdoor enclosure. The enclosure is open air, however it is sheltered from rain and sun and the floor is cemented. The bunnies are often hopping around and today I find one laying upside down on its litter tray.

Should I have placed the bunnies in an enclosure? Would a cage be better? It was raining very heavily yesturday and the floor was rather wet. However ive provided loads of boxes for them to hide in case of rain. Each box has sawdust to keep them warm too.

ARGHHHHHH what did i do wrong?

Current diet - pellets and hay (Hagen brand)

I have around 20 cats and more coming, they just come home thru the back yard, some of them just come to have their children and leave them there, some come just to eat. Most of them don't allow me to touch them or be close. I have sterilized some but they keep coming I don't feel putting them to sleep is the best solution because maybe if I let them free some of them could survive. On the other hand, ppl is cruel and could make them suffer and they will suffer because they don't know how to get food by their own, what should I do???

I really love horses and I ask for one all the time. I've never been on a horse so all I want is a Miniature or Shetland or something similar. My parents don't seem to think I'm responsible enough, even though I am. Any ideas on how I can convince them?

We live in South Florida and are inexperienced horse owners. This is our first winter with Malakai, my daughter's thoroughbred horse. We are currently experiencing unusual night time temperature drops in the 40's. How cold does it need to get for a horse to need a blanket?

My husband and I just adopted 2 cute little sugar gliders! One girl and one boy, they are almost a year old. They came from below standard living conditions, they're cage was a very tiny little bird cage and they were never really taken out. They were only fed quiko sugar glider food and thats about it. Even though they werent played with they are somewhat tame and eat fruit out of our hands and don't crab too much. I just wanted to ask the experianced glider mommy and dadys out there afew questions;
1.The cage smells awful!Theyre poo is caked to the side of the cage, we can't seem to get it off.Whats a safe way to clean it?
2.Is the quicko food ok?What else should we feed them,when and how much?
3.We had them out of their cage last night and they would climb on our hands and bite us.They even drew blood on my thumb. How do we bond w/older gliders and will they always bite people they don't know?
4.What do u recomend as a cage liner? They were using kitty liter.
Thanks!!

Before getting my own saddle,I borrowed other people's tack,which is excusable since I don't own my own horse.I always cleaned their tack after using it,but I just got a western saddle of my own,and I've always heard that a saddle should be oiled a few times a year in addition to being cleaned regularly to keep it in good condition..I've never had to oil a saddle before,lol,and I have a stupid question.How do I do it?

I have a very loving, playful 1 1/2 year old hairless rat. He has skin cancer and presents with 3 large red sores on his body. He is currently doing very well, is active, curious and still enjoying life. He lives in a large cage with lots of toys, I changed his litter from pine shavings to shredded newspaper to keep pine wood oils from bothering his skin and I have already changed his food to "Reggie Rat" for more balanced nutrition.

I want to know what kind of care I should give him to increase his comfort and longevity. Should I apply an antibiotic ointment to the sores on a regular basis? Are there other things I can do?

(Serious, helpful answers only please.)
