I have two fur coats(real), and a horse hide rug acutally made out of one of my horses hide, and love to hunt.... I'll give all that up if you will just learn to spell.

if the animal is used for food aside from just it's fur that's a different story.
but animals just being killed for their fur is wrong
it's all about the mighty $$$
women want to look fashionable and men want to make their women happy
the bottom line is the $$$
I don't think it's wrong for someone to have a fur coat or item but for the people actually doing the killing should be punished.
there should be more regulations.. like, if you kill you have to eat the meat
and you have to practice within reasonable standards with respect to presurving the enviroment and excersizing humane catching and processing of the animals.
With respect as the native americans had

Those fur coats came from animals bred on farms for that very purpose. Exactly like the cow that got killed for that burger you ate. God gave us animals to use for food and clothing. They are no longer being taken from the wild for that purpose, but are bring bred for our use. As long as we aren't being cruel to them or depleting a species, what difference does it make if it's for a coat or for a steak?

we have not been able to manufacture anything that matches the softness, warmth, and beauty of natural fur-and we owe much of our success as a species to our ancestors ability to see that animals, (and plants) can give us more than just food-as long as we are responsible about it- I see no problem with it.

people are strange, eh? One of the spiritual guide books I read is the Bible. In Genesis it suggests that God himself used animal hide to clothe Adam and Eve. I realize that not everyone gives credit to the Bible but as for myself, if its good enuff for God then who am I to dispute it?

Hope you are not a meat eater. Because killing for fur is the same as killing for meat.

I'll think way back to before looms were invented when all there was to wear was animal skin.

why do you think God put fury animals on the earth? Why do people pick a fight that they will never win?
