did any of your babies/toddlers sample cat/dog food. if so, did they like it. when my son was about 1, he sampled the dry cat food and liked it. ofcourse i did not let him continue with it but every so often he tried to sneak one in his mouth.

There's this horse that I know that has a cool brand. It's K Lazy Heart
Bar.( the lazy heart is a heart lying on it's side.) (the bar is a horizontal line.) If anyone knows about this brand, please tell me where the ranch is, what kind of horses they breed, etc. I might like to get visit there sometime. THANKS!!

Ok; so right about now is the time when I'm finally preparing to add another fuzzy to my home & while it's really not all that important I was wondering if certain colors are harder to find then others. I really want a Cinnamons Champagne or a Silver.I know that Cinnamons are not as common as Champagnes so I was wondering if I would have to go to an actual breeder or if they still sell at places like Petco & such. There is a small local petshop I really want to purchase from; [I have checked it out numerous times; excellent place to purchase; good price; clean cages & healthy pets... I usually dont like petshops but this place is great] so I was just wondering; if anyone has any advice on where I should look for these colors; please let me know. Thanks :]

Hi, this question is really for the horse trainer or expert. Please no stupid or mean answers.

I am getting a blind horse, I went to meet him and everything went good. He was well mannered, well just a little ansty since it was supper time. But he let me touch him all over and the girl (12 yrs old) picked up his feet and like I said was really good.

My question is, is there any way to introduce him to his new surroundings and training with the least bit of trouble on my part and the least amount of stress on his? He is broke, but needs another horse to lead for him to feel comfortable, you can also ride him with someone leading him and he does fine.

My goal is to get him to be able to get him to the point where he trusts me enough and will go on the trails and everything without guidance from an additional horse or human.

I am not really training savvy but I am willing to give it a shot and I think I will be successful.
Please no one say get a trainer.

I have been self training my draft mare in dressage for the past 5 yrs, with a little help from instructors when I can afford lessons. Anyways, we are schooling 1st level, and I have her going forward with her shoulder and back up finally. My problem is that now we get stuck in circles. At 2 points, every time we circle at the trot, her head flies up and her roundness gets shot. She does not have the problem at a walk or canter.
She can go through those two points at a shoulder in, but not in a straight curve withouth jaming her head up. I also have tried just moving her in or out of the circle at that point to no avail. It is also just going to the left, which is her bad side.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I have a 6 yr old Morgan Quarter horse cross that is a bit fast at the canter. her previous owner was weird and didn't let her actually be a real horse, so she dosn't know much about her legs just yet. but all i need is help on how to slow her down and keep her relaxed and calm as i am cantering her, her problem is that she gets so frusterated with herself cause she dosn't know what to do, and she gets mad and bucks and kicks out, but i have done all i can think of to calm her and to keep her quite can anyone help..

I am hoping to become a veterinarian later in life.
I am currently attending High School in Illinois.
If anyone can answer at least some of these questions, that would be great.
Thanks in advance, i appreciate it!

+What is the average Vet. salary for 2006 & is it expecting to increase or decrease in the next 5 to10 years?
+How many more years of schooling will i need after high school?
+What colleges/univ. would you recommend in or around Illinois?
+How many different types/fields are there?
+Is the employment rate & need of veterinarians increasing or decreasing in America right now?
+What subjects should i focus on the most during my years in high school?

My female bunny is 1 year old and I haven't noticed any bleeding or change in behaviour until now - she isn't bleeding as such, but her urine is really smelly and pinkier than normal. She is well in herself and full of energy. Is this her being 'in heat'? And how long will it last / often will it occur? Please?

My parents said that if i earn up the money for a horse its self(or half depending on the price) i could buy one and they would pay for the boarding, tack, ect... Anyway i have the choice of 6 of my favorite breeds... They are Gypsy Vanner, Rocky Mountain Horse, PMU rescue horse(are they their own breed?), appoloosa, arabian, or paint. What one should i pick?

I have just had a new horse and he is very green asa his past owners had very little time for him. he has a beautiful temprement and i know he can go far, however i am having touble with getting him to listen to me. He gets distracted really easily and as he is still only 4 (a baby in my eyes...lol) i need a very gentil and possitive approach. i love him to bits and i want him to be as calm and happy as possible, not only that i want us to both have fun learning. I have had some very dull moments with past horses were you never seem to progress blah blah blah... however my horse has potential and i would be very greatful for some of u awsum guys to give me some advise! Thank you... much loves xxxx
