Ok; so right about now is the time when I'm finally preparing to add another fuzzy to my home & while it's really not all that important I was wondering if certain colors are harder to find then others. I really want a Cinnamons Champagne or a Silver.I know that Cinnamons are not as common as Champagnes so I was wondering if I would have to go to an actual breeder or if they still sell at places like Petco & such. There is a small local petshop I really want to purchase from; [I have checked it out numerous times; excellent place to purchase; good price; clean cages & healthy pets... I usually dont like petshops but this place is great] so I was just wondering; if anyone has any advice on where I should look for these colors; please let me know. Thanks :]

Awwww....me too - preparing to get fuzzy number 2 that is!! I live in Manchester England and ferrets are legal here but not a popular pet at all so I don't know much about colours. I got my Freddie from a rescue shelter and wouldn't think of getting a pet from a pet store because there are so many unwanted pets in shelters and I feel good "rescuing" one but if you want to get one from a store then that's your choice. Sorry I can't help with your question but I just wanted to say good luck with your new fuzzy...us ferret lovers should stick together cos they get a real bad rap off people!! xx

I can't really help you because i dont know what pet shops are around you but a place called PetLand around here is good for me.. Also don't judge on colors judge on age and personality.

The pet store I worked at didn't have them, but make sure that the stink gland is removed.
