I really need the money and I love animals, but I'm afraid kids will make fun of me?

I have found that caged mammals take a lot of care (guinea pigs etc.). I live in an apartment and my dog needs to be walked 4 times a day so that is quite a bit of care but I really enjoy it. I am wondering if there are animals that you can keep that don't really need a lot of care.

I have had guinea pigs and that is the most exotic I have had. I have helped the occasional hurt turtle, but only kept them long enough to take them to the vet. I was just curious to know what other people had.

I am talking about animal communication like in the show the Pet Psychic (Not teaching a dog signs and symbols etc.) Do you think you can mentally communicate with your animal? Have you done this?

I saw an advert on TV showing a monkey in a cage. They asked whether it was right to test a drug on him. I said "No". Then they asked whether it was okay if it would help a man in a wheelchair recover from an incurable disease. It was a difficult one but I decided the answer was still no. What are your thoughts on this - is it right to swap one life for another? Do you believe that all animals are inferior to humans and that it is okay to carryout experiments on them?

I have a pet hamster, who is around 6 months old. I've had her since she was 8 weeks & she's never done this before. She is packed on both sides & refuses to let go, even with a gentle "push" on her cheeks. She's also depserately trying to climb from her cage, another thing she's never done. She's been acting this way for about 3 hours now and I'm starting to get pretty concerned. Any ideas?

ok on the side of my hamster's belly is aa big bump. looks likea tumor. but also has was appears to be a bug bite on the tip of it. aside from the fact that she is in heat and her [[woohoo]] is bleeding. i noticed that today. and she seems more tired now adays. she comes out at night or day and lays on her side in the corner of her tank. i worry she might be very ill. but i thought i would seek answers before i went and got medical attention from a vet or doctor. If anyone can answer my question then let me kno A.S.A.P. i dont want to loose her. and this is about my only chance.

thanks a bunch!
luv ya lots!

The dogs dont ask to be bred and the gene pool isnt growing short. they usually lead bad lives for their owners amusement or wealth. so why not nip it in the bud and make it illegal to breed without a breeding licence. and to have a licence you must have a select few dogs and all pups must be neutered by new owners this should be by law tell me what u think

I just got a horse about a week ago which hasn't been riden in a long time. He doesn't like to be riden and when I got on him he did ok but my dad had to pull him and when my dad got on him the horse rolled over on his side after trying to buck him off. My aunt also rode him but he wouldn't go and so she just sat there on him barely kicking his side. He's very stubborn. Also the guy who sold him to us had a girl one 2 and so we got her too. When we tried to ride her he started going crazy and doesn't like her being ridden without him. We have a hard time putting the saddle on and riding him but other than that he's very good. He likes being pet and he will come up to us when we go out there with them. If anyone knows anything about this please tell me or give me websites on it. Does he need to be broke, trained or is it just cause he hasn't been riden? Help please!!
