my hamster has a tumor like bump on the side of her belly, what should i do, and wat is it?

ok on the side of my hamster's belly is aa big bump. looks likea tumor. but also has was appears to be a bug bite on the tip of it. aside from the fact that she is in heat and her [[woohoo]] is bleeding. i noticed that today. and she seems more tired now adays. she comes out at night or day and lays on her side in the corner of her tank. i worry she might be very ill. but i thought i would seek answers before i went and got medical attention from a vet or doctor. If anyone can answer my question then let me kno A.S.A.P. i dont want to loose her. and this is about my only chance.

hmmm maybe is a little rash? maybe she's allergic to her bedding or something.

It also might be this diesease where they will lose fur and lil bumps will form, it's life threatening so if she starts to lose fur, take her to the vet A.S.A.P (it's cureable-my guinea pigs had it and got cured..no biggie)

Seek the advice of a vet. It might be a bug bite or something more serious. If you don't have the cash, wash it and rub a little antibiotic on it and hope for the best.

Please take her to a vet. No vet can make a diagnosis without seeing the animal. It sounds like your hamster could be quite ill and the little critters can go downhill pretty quickly. Even if there is nothing that can be done to make her better, you'll know that you did the best you could for her.

My daughter had a hamster that had a bump/knot on her hamster to. We found out that it was cancer. The hamster did eventually die because of it There really isn't to much they can do for a hamster with cancer. I hope your hamster gets better!
