The best bet for feeding you rabbit is sticking with pellets. A carrot once in a while is like giving your dog a treat. Something you wouldn't feed them every time.
Believe it or not, when I was little I had a bunnie that ate cooked chicken, Suzie. She was weird though. I would stay away from the lettuce, if you give them too much it will give them diarrhea, sometimes so bad that they will dehydrate and die!! so be careful, and stick with the food that the feed store sells, it gives them all the nutrients that they need.

What rabbit need is the staples. Fresh water, pellets and hay.
Depending on the size the rabbit will determine the amount of pellets. A 5 pound bunny should have 1/2 a cup a day of pellets. The bigger the bunny the more they need. Check and see what type of rabbit you have.
If they are babies they should have unlimted amounts of pellets and alafa hay. Oh yes and after six months you should give them veggies. Becareful of carrots and other high sugar treats. Rabbits can become diabiet with time.
When you bunnies are over 6 month feed them Timothy complete and Timothy hay. Timothy Complete is lower in calicium which will promote Kidney stones. Timothy hay is better then alfa , its less in fat. Unlimited amounts of hay is important. It will help with digestion, the back molars and help with keep you pellet bill down.
I hope I've helped you.

Rabbit pellets are the best every day food. Fresh grass and alfalfa are good too. The every now and then foods are things like carrots and lettuce, if you feed those too much they will get to like those more than the pellets and thats not the best diet for them to have all the time. Pellets are balanced and provide all of the things they need in a daily diet.
