I have these two bunnies in a cage in my garage, and I love them very much. I love to watch them play together.
---Recently, the female got pregnant, and I was so excited! I waited expectantly for days for the bunnies to be birthed.
---Today, the bunny finally had its kids! They were so cute, and there were 4 of them. I was as happy as can be. I saw the daddy turn around and lick its kids. It ws the sweetest thing I ever saw <3 <3
----But then something gross happened. The dad licked one of its babies INTO ITS MOUTH! It ATE ITS CHILD! It was disgusting, and blood dripped out of its mouth as I heard it crunch through the weak new bones of its offspring
----The worst part is that the mommy and the other babies paid no attention, they didn't even seem to care! (Well, the babies' eyes were still closed, so I guess they couldn't see :|) HOW COULD SUCH SWEET CREATURES BE SO CRUEL!?!

I'm considering rats as pets for my two teenage boys. They are very keen on the idea (the boys are, that is). Should I get males or females? The boys want pets that will hang out with them, not scurry away all the time. Any advice?

My horse is ALWAYS tripping and it scares me! I'll be riding and he might slip or trip or stumble. even after he gets his feet trimmed he still trips. Once someone was riding him and he fell. not tripped but fell and his shoulders touched the ground. He;s reallllllly well behaved so it IS an accident.
>>>he is tender footed and doesn't like walking on gravel(i don't know if that makes a difference.
Thx!!(no dumb answers plz)

my daughter recently purchased a horse who has had the same name for nine years, and she wants to change his name. Does this matter, and how do you know your horse knows its name?

I have noticed that my cat has been very attached to me ever since I got pregnant. For my cat, the best person in the house has suddenly shifted from my husand to me. Does anyone have similar experience? Or more importantly, does anyone know the more scientific explanations behind this behavior?

I'm unsure what is going on with my rabbits eye. This morning I woke up and saw that she had it closed. At times she would open it. My guess is she scratched it with her nail or something. It looks a bit pinkish. I tried wiping it with a warm cloth but it didn't help.

Does anyone think they know what happened or what I can do?

Still searching for that "perfect" jumper/eventer prospect. I am considering a 4.5 yo 16.2 Holsteiner/TB mare -- great conformation, great temperment, still fairly green but going over jumps willingly, loves people (more than other horses:).

NEGATIVES: she's still green (I have brought along a young horse before with the help of a trainer, but this would mean that I won't be able to show for at least a couple years); She had an abscess on one hoof a while ago (now fine), but her feet are still a bit cracked--are some horses just born with or have a predisposition for bad/cracked feet or is this something I'd be able to fix? Also, I would prefer a gelding over mare (not sure if she will become "marish" as she gets older)--but I guess there is no perfect horse ;)

Also, what's the difference b/t american warmblood registry and american warmblood society? (she has won several titles with the AWR as a youngster)

When I ride her she puts full attention on my other horse and lifts her head up like she's mad at me. I think she wants to be with him. It's so annoying brcause she also bounces around when I trot and tries speeding up on me. I just want her to behave!!!!
