Quarter Horses or Paints. Quiet , calm, easy going. Thoroughbreds are hotter, lovely to look at, and great race horses or jumpers. Belgiums will work their heart out for you and are real calm and sweet. Arabians are elegant and hotter also, and great endurance horses. Tennessee Walkers can and will walk forever. Hannovarians and Warmbloods are beautiful Dressage horses. I guess I love them all. The list just keeps going. No offence to the breeds I didn't list. I can't think of a breed I don't like. Even a bad horse in the proper hands will usually turn out to be a good one. I don't believe there is a bad horse, just bad handlers or trainers. Horses are intellegent and can communicate if you pay attention and learn their communication, it's just a foreign language we haven't yet learned.

Yep like them have them.
We have a halflinger/pinto paint (he is a mut with papers lol) very big, very gentle! Or gentle now that he is gelded. Like riding while doing the splits....I can stand on him with no problems what so ever. He will follow me anywhere!! He is called a torbino or something rather. White, brown with black around the brown.
Then we have a paint filly. She was going to be a rodeo bucking horse, came from rodeo stock. She can jump a panel, in fact she has done it a couple times....She can run like the wind. She is a chestnut with white spots..
Paints (Indian ponies, love color), Quarter Horses (I love there muscles, heads, and brains).
There are others I like.
Worked with Morgan show horses, real pretty! Not to much as far as colors like the paints. Had one even, who was retired show horse, he was so fun to ride.....
Had quarter horses,Arabians,even had a donkey lol!
I like taking care of them more then riding....never a breeder. Leave that up to those who have the money to do it right.

One thing to get people to talk is ask them about there critters :0)

Arabian stallions would be my most favorite. Not only are they full of beauty & grace I find they are almost human. I've had such close relationships & conversations with these horses it's almost impossible to believe. They know when I need my spirits lifted and have protected me from harm. When they decide they want to show off and prance in hand they always respect my personal space and are sure I'm not injured.

It's hard to explain how personable and special this breed is but I would recommend them over any other for all ages.

I believe that the Australian Stock Horse cross Arabians are the best breed, being GREAT endurance horses and not a bad hacking and jumping horses....power of the stock n elegance of the Arabian...

I have always been a sucker for the draft breeds. I grew up in the midst of an amish community and always had Belgians around. They are just the biggest babies you'd ever know. My first horse was half belgian.

I'd have to say the Quarter Horse is my favorite breed because of it's versatility and wide variety of colors. I don't have one but my mom breeds them.

My favorite would have to be the Quarter Horse. They are laid back (generally) very friendly and people oriented, intelligent and comfortable to ride not to mention extremely versitle.

Yep, like horses.. Have 12 at the moment. All breeds I like.., we have, Registered paints, percherons and minis. Oh and my daughters Tennessee walker, dont care too much for her though.
