Hi Nick...Hugh Hefner (founder of Playboy) has a variety of exotic animals: spider, caphuchin monkeys, yellow tamarins, talking parrots, peacocks, goldfish, rabbits and stalks and many more. He has a staff of licenced zookeepers to manage the menagerie at the Playboy Mansion.

I think he's the exception to most celebrities, because exotics require full-time care for their lifetime which most celebrities are unable to provide since they are always traveling and working long hours.

because most people are just in it for themselves and they live in a materialistic self absorbed world. There is no changing some people and they just will never put one and one together when it comes pairing their accessories to animal suffering. On another note, a lot of people could be doing more to end the suffering of animals by actually taking a stand against the companies and organizations that PROCESS the furs and sell the livestock for rendering. There are laws that they have to abide by and most do not, so I would say that if someone really wants to do some good, get a copy of the animal protection laws for your state and start finding violations in the plants and factory farms local to your area, turn them into the humane officers and try to get them closed or so closely regulated that they go nuts. I have been doing this with a livestock auction where I live and am close to getting them shut down altogether simply by forcing the officers to enforce the existing laws on this sales stable
