Dogs because you can do so much more with a dog not only that they protect you more than a cat ever will. Cats lounge around, dogs get down and dirty and are active playful animal now depending on what kind of dog you get is the question some dogs are good around family some i wouldnt trust

I've always loved dogs. I heard a story told to me about when the great divide came between man and animals the only animal to join man was the dog. I think that is so true.

used to like dogs until I had a kid. Now I prefer cats because they are more independant and less needy.

hey i perfer dogs, because they are a mans best friend and cats are always lazy and they don't do anything for you. At least dogs try to help you. They help the blind and they make lots of people smile!

i would perfer a dog becaues dogs are loyal,intellengent,smart,trainable,.Cats on the other hand dont want to be pets all they do is go in and out the house.But dogs wantto be pets cats dont want to maybe when they are kittens but not when the are cats.They want freedom.
