i think you should get a cat,because they are easier to take care of, you don't have to walk it everyday, and they love t oplay. I have 6 cats, and they rarely throw up in my house, and i have 6. You just want to make sure you get the right cat. If you go to the humane society, they have alot of good cats. Dogs also consume alot of food! cats don;'t. they always go in the litter box. I think you should go with cats, i still like dogs, but i would prefer cats.

Why do I have to prefer one over the other? I have both. My kids each have dogs, 1 a Black Lab/Chow mix and 1 a Jack Russel Terrier/Chihuahua mix, and my daughter also has a Calico cat and I also just got a Siamese kitten.

Dogs, they are man's best friend because they broke out from the pack of the wild and into the lives of man. They have been with us for thousands of years. Cats are nice, but they just want to look pretty. Dogs are our protectors and we are theirs too.

Dogs. They are much friendlier than cats and you never see a cat that can do tricks. On another note, I would rather BE a cat than a dog. Landing on your feet has its perks.

Small dogs. I don't have one, but my mom's cat is mean and never even wants to play.

i would prefer dogs beacause they will protect you and they also like to play more that cats do.cats just like to be left alone to sleep all day.

You never know when cats are just going to attack you.
Dogs at least let you know they're mad.
