My female bunny is 1 year old and I haven't noticed any bleeding or change in behaviour until now - she isn't bleeding as such, but her urine is really smelly and pinkier than normal. She is well in herself and full of energy. Is this her being 'in heat'? And how long will it last / often will it occur? Please?

A female rabbits comes into heat when a male is around. If a rabbit has just had a litter and is left in with a male, they can and will become pregnant straight away.

Somethings to keep in mind about an unspayed female rabbit. They can become very territorial and will defend their space. It sounds funny to think of a cute rabbit becoming vicious but being boxed and bitten every time you try to clean out their area isn't a lot of fun. They're also more prone to various cancers. Unless there is a good reason to keep her entire, spaying is the best thing all round.

Its not real that dwarfs or miniature are greater money. i've got been given some for $30 each and each because of the fact they have been organic bred. i in my opinion like the miniature rabbits because of the fact they are small and in basic terms stunning, not asserting all rabbits are not. in case you get a protracted haired you will would desire to brush its hair interior the spring to assist for while it sheds.. a minimum of i do.. in case you have a pal that breeds rabbits you may ask them what they sell and how lots. additionally at gala's there are continuously some on the marketplace. i don't understand if there's a difference in aggression. perhaps examine a sprint? neutering will continuously help fairly because of the fact it is going to help with their hormones and such. in case you do get a rabbit continuously bear in ideas that they'd get warm so in the event that they are exterior interior the summertime and its warm, positioned a chilly icy water bottle or something that it cant chew in there to maintain it cool.. i like my boy rabbits because of the fact they are fairly sweeter whether all Rabbits have their days....
