It's not good for any animal to eat cloth; they may choke or it could cause stomache / digestive problems or intestinal blockage as well as many more problems I'm sure.

No, they shouldn't. I'm a rabbit breeder and have been since second
grade. First, it could jam up their throat, causing suffocation. Second, It could get caught in their stomach, which cloth doesn't digest at all. There are many other reasons why they shouldn't eat cloth, but too many to name. All of these COULD cause death, so be careful. Well, hope this helps. Bye!!

I also have a rabbit and she does the same thing. When I see chew on a blanket or cloth like material I try to take it away. I'm not sure if it's dangerous but I don't want to take any risks. You can try replacing the cloth with a branch or something wooden to chew on. Willow branches are healthy and rabbits love them.

Allowing an animal to eat fabrics is a bad idea. Long pieces of thread can cause serious intestinal problems, some requiring surgery or causing death!
