That's AWSOME!! Its a great idea to gather horse lovers from all over your school and make new friends! Some ideas that i would use would be help any nearby horse rescue centers(PMU, rescues, ect.). Also you could bake horse treats if you had permission... Also you could paint horses, try to get some cool puzzles(there are 3-D ones that build models of horses), or there is a game called Horseopoly. You can all these things and more online or at your nearest tack shop or petshop. You have a great idea! Go for it! Good luck!!!

I started a saddle club two different times and both went over well. the first one was sponsored by the school but not owned. It was More than a headache for me but the end reward was pretty nice. Mainly, besides going to the meeting every Thursday, we did get involved into the local rodeo and rode horses in all the parades. The second one back in my Early twenties was a lot nicer. I had a piece of property that I turned into a gymkhana arena with roping box at one end and some stalls where I charged boarders to put their horse. That ended when I volunteered (by vote) my club to wash, groom and harness all the Budweiser Horses for the yearly Prada Del Sol rodeo and I ended up with doing all those Clydesdale horses by myself.Madder than a Bramer Bull and 26 non stop hours later those bud horses were ready for the rodeo and I closed the club within 27 hours. Oh yea, I slept through my Bull ridding event loosing out on the competition and points for the finials. Sounds fun but it's a lot of work and my advise to you would be...get dedicated members and have fun. The chamber of commence can give you a lot of info in starting your club and even might sponsor your club so maybe start there?

Go for it. I'm sure loads of kids would love to be in a horse club. I know I would.
Also, what kind of suggestions do you mean? Activities? If you do, some things you can do in your club are:
*to have every member pitch in some money to go horseback riding
*discuss how much you like horses(and why) every club meeting
*if anyone in the club has a horse, have every club member go vist it one day
*have horse parties(members only) where you have everything horse-themed
*do all kinds of horse-related activities, like sculpting horses out of clay, and stuff like that.
I love horses too. I used to have a horse named Penny. She was soo sweet.
Good luck with your club and have fun!

even nonetheless you have riiden somewhat some categories of horses i might nonetheless say your a sophisticated beginer. you recognize the fundamentals and a few lateral artwork, you could bounce, yet from what you have mentioned the horses you have ridden are purely enjoying up because of the fact they recognize they are in a position to flee with it, once you're somewhat stressful using those then you somewhat could desire to earnings somewhat self assurance till now you will possibly have the flexibility to holiday a non-using college horse, maximum of them tend to be extra forward and responsive.

yeah it is a good idea but lots of work to do..i've done it you have to get a legal document saying that if a student gets hurt it will be taken care of, and than you have to have a legel document from a insurance company saying they will talk care of what every injurys happens..than every parent has to sigh a agrement, than you have to go to the board of education about it.. and that is fun..lol.. but go for it..it is worth it trust me..
