I have three guinea pigs in one care (ENORMOUS CAGE) and one of them is not squeaking right. He sounds like he's hissing when he would normally squeak. In addition, in a different location of my house I have two more guinea pigs that share a very large cage and one of them is doing the same thing. Basically I have seven children and one set of pigs is in the bedroom of two of my girls and the other set is with my two boys. They all are playing and eating well. They are chubby little critters and seem very happy. We use only pine wood chips and their diets are pellets and veggies. BUT!!! I am very concerned about strept throat as my daughter came home sharing that a friend of hers has strept throat, and she would have been exposed. Can she pass this on to the guinea pigs? And if not, what else could make a pig hiss?

I've often wondered this. Lady and the Tramp, Aristocats, 101 Dalmatians... they all let their characters breed like... um rabbits.

Ok I want an animal that will stay in a cage in my room that wont make my mom complain about the smell. I can handle any amount of cleaning they take and it can't be a hamster or something like them and I have had plenty of fish in my life.

My friend's bunny died today. She is upset because This morning her dad woke her up to tell her, her bunny died and she had to bury her rabbit. She said he went outside and it was barely alive and now it's gone. She never got to say good bye. Any advice for me to tell her? I don't want her sad.

...and part of her shoulders are also brown. I have a big show coming up on August 4th and it will look terrible in the show ring (especially in halter). How can I bring out her natural black again? Are there any products out there? Thanks!

Today my bunny passed away in my arms. He was fine up until today when I walked in to see him. He had his paws spread out straight and wouldn't move. I took him out of the cage, he still wouldn't move. I turned him on his back and then I knew he was dying as he made no attempt to turn himself over. His respirations were very rapid and then he passed. What do you think happened? I am heartbroken and feel ill

I have had chickens for about six months now. I have 1 big rooster and 8 hens and 4 guineas in a large coop. The inside where the boxes are is about 8 foot by ten foot and the yard they have full access too is about 8 foot by 15 to 20 feet. For the first time, last week I noticed one of my hens is sitting on 10 eggs. What do I do?

People I talked to said the rooster and other hens will kill the chicks when they hatch out. Said I have to bring them in and put them in a round box and feed them round the clock. Is this true? How are there so many chickens if they cant raise their own? I really need some advice from someone who has been there and knows what they're talking about. Thanks for any help!
