a sugar glider, they are an Austrailian animal, and they are cute when babies, but ugly as an adult, but they are fun as well. Look it up...they should have a site on it.

It depends on how much time and energy you want to put into the animal. Sugar gliders are great but do require a great deal of time and effort. You may want to think about reptiles or even exotic insects or tarantulas.

You could get a sugar glider, but I don't know if they are legal. Or you could get a chinchilla. I think I have heard of people getting prarie dogs too, but I think they have a different name for them.

Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. Their great pets and real easy to care for. They grow up to 3 inches long and over1 inch wide. They don't bite are sanitary and odorless. Here is a great article.

we have very unusual pets - called Northern Walking Stick insects...
dont get weird pets if you are getting them to make yourself look/feel cool.. get an animal because you enjoy it and want to improve its life in some way - not so it improves yours
