the horse i bought is a 12 year old paso fino. i have recently discovered that at some point in her life she suffered a left broken hip or pelvis which was surgically repaired. she walks fine, but when riding with weight when she gets to a canter she seems to favor this hip and sort of gives way to it. but she does not balk at anything you ask her to do and does not seem to be in pain. i am just worried that she could give way and fall on me. is an old injury of this type dangerous to me or my horse?

Strange enough, my cat will actually sit by the tv and stare at it wide eyed until it falls asleep a few hours later. Does your cat or dog do this and is it normal?

I have heard that leaves from a Red Maple are poisonous once they have fallen & dried. I'm looking for a comprehensive list of plants/trees that could be potentially harmfull to our horses.

There is this rooster that comes by and sleeps on my tree. He belongs to the neighbor. I was outside and he came towards me and I walked off and he started getting closer and closer towards me. When I would walk off, he would start following me so I started walking faster and he started running and pecking at my foot. It didn't hurt by what does that mean? Did he feel threathened by me? He is the one that came close to me. He chased my neice but my neice was getting really close to him but when she ran away, he would leave her alone and stop chasing her.

my hamster is two years old and when we first got him he has had other times where his foot has gotten swollen. Usually we let the foot heal by its self, but recently it seems to have come back and sometimes dosn't fully go away. I would like to know what causes this and how to stop it in the future.

We used play sand as advised. Also put a few other things in there for his amusement. I found what had been a cage for a hampster at a garage sale. Looks more like a aquarium. But it isn't. Will it just take more time?
