rabbits are nocturnal. so if you are getting him out during the day that could be why. if you are really worried about him you should take him to your vet.

Have you noticed any sign of diarrhea or does his tummy feel like it is water-logged or puffy with air? The puffy ball/corner stance is quite common with coccidiosis or internal parasites. They can also do this if they have a condition known as sore hocks, where they get sore spots on their back feet, from sitting on the wire.

You need to see whether or not he is eating / drinking, etc., and check his stool. Has he suffered any major stresses in his life at the moment? How old is he?

Feel free to email me at uglyrose01@yahoo.com if you would like to discuss this further.

Is your bunny still unfamiliar with U?

Maybe he is shy, scared. Don't disturb him!

If he is sick, U can notice from his fur is dull or may be standing up, eyes cloudy and with white residue, his nostril is wet.

This is the most I knew.. I hope I could help!

I let my bunny roam about at home and he does go back to his cage when he his hungry or needs the toilet. What a clever bunny!

If you are really concerned, take him to the vet. Maybe he's just tired because you've had him out of his cage. Is he active at other times? Maybe he doesn't like being caged up and he's lonely. Do you think you should get another bunny?

My bunny loved her corner of her cage. Whenever she was in her cage, she always snuggled down in that one place, with her head facing out towards the room. I think it's just an animalistic trait to keep their backs protected from predators, while being able to keep an eye on everything else.

It could be a lot of reasons. He might be lonely in his cage. You should consider getting him a spayed female. Rabbits are social by nature. Bonded rabbits are great because they can keep each other busy and happy. Go to this website and read up about it. http://www.rabbit.org

I'd take him to the vet. Does he cough or sneeze a lot? Sounds silly but small animals can get pneumonia. Is he bleeding from his nose or bum at all? What about his appetite? Has it changed? All these can be bad signs... Hope he's OK!

if he puts his ears down and sits sort of like a duck...he's scared. You should ask a vet. i have a rabbit but he doesn't do that. he lays down or sits when it's hot out or the weather's nice.

One bunny all by itself sounds lonesome to me. I would get another bunny friend to play with!
