My favorite pets are turtles and guinea pigs! They get along great too!

I had a sugar glider that was a great pet. Unfortunately, my roommate left the toilet seat up one night and since I hardly ever made him stay in his cage, he got out underneath my door to my room and.... well... I don't have him anymore. But he was great. So were my ferrets. I love my cat, my geckos, my mouse and my rose hair tarantula too. And my brother's iguana when he had it. I guess there aren't too many pets that I don't like. Hermit crabs seem pretty boring though.... never had any of them. :)

Geese and ducks.
Especially geese though.
If you get them to imprint on you, they can be some of the greatest pets ever.
I read once about a one legged chicken that became a house pet though too. It was trained to use a litter box and was hand tamed.

My favorite pet is a dog. They are the best friends and love attention. My dog rarely barks. She loves to play with toys. She is entertaining and funny. Turltles, horses, cows, lizards, rabbits and squirrels are of great interest to her.

Dogs - they are quite loyal and most are friendly. They don't have a lot of attitude like cats do. Although, it may take training - they can do tricks and bring you things. They are fun to play with as well. I'm definately a dog-person!

I think you can't go past a dog for a really great pet... mine in particular... he's great! :) I love my horse too though. Rat's are nice, but they die too soon, pigs are good too, but unless you need a rotary hoe they do a lot of damage to your garden.
