I F***KING HATE Sea Monkeys! What a lie! They lie to children, they LIE LIE LIE!!
Sea Monkeys are brine shrimp.
They do not wear crowns of gold.
They do not have humanoid features.
They do not do "tricks", and they are not trainable like the advertisements used to say
I was a brokenhearted child, saving my money for Sea Monkeys, looking forward to my little humanoid aqua friends to do tricks, and all I got was f**king brine shrimp.

Sea monkeys are also known as brine shrimp. They don't live in oceans but rather in deserts. They produce cysts (eggs) that can live in a dehydrated state for up to ten years waiting for a rainfall.

oh my goodness i cant believe this my boys had sea monkeys years ago like maybe 20 yrs ago in the bahamas we lived there many years and as i recall they were something like sea horses very delicate living in the seaweed near the shore my boys used to catch them and bring them home to the acquarium we had and of course thwy never lasted longer than a day or two at most. i wish my sons were here so i could answer properly your question but they are in the military and somewhere where i cannot contact either one of them perhaps i shall keep your yahoo address and whenever they return i can answer you correctly how very nioce to hear the question you have restored my faith in yahoo answers. good night to you

lol..they were brine shrimp..what a skip those things were! Remember how on the package they came in made them out to look like a family with little crowns..that is what sold me on them. I wanted a little bowl of royalty family. Little did I realize that I would need a magnifying glass to see the dam* things..so I got fed up and fed them to my fish
