Oh and include why and maybe take consideration of the price, i personally think it would be soething like hermet crab, there cheap, and you just need to keep things moist and keep food and cleaning is easier than the fish

all pets are a pain in the ***, but snakes are easiest. You only need to feed them a couple times a month.

Well, I think you should first consider whether you have TIME for a new pet. If you want something to just sit in a cage and be low-maintenance, it might be better to not get a pet. However, I have 5 cats, a guinea pig, 6 mice, 3 dogs, and some fish, so I will tell you what I think. A small animal is NOT the way to go. You have to clean their cages or they smell. The larger ones have to be taken out and exercised. However, they love you back, not like fish. Dogs need a lot of attention, or else they are sad. If they are inside, they have to be taken out. I personally find cats to be VERY low-maintenance. They mostly just take care of themselves. They just need food, water, and a clean litterbox. They are VERY easy to litterbox train. Cats naturally dig and cover their feces, so it is very easy. Plus, cats are cuddly and are very easy to adopt. That way you are actually saving something!

Actually, some fish are extremely high maintenance (tropical fish mostly). However, in my opinion, a Betta fish (also called Siamese Fighting Fish) is the easiest pet to care for. Bettas only have to be fed every 2-3 days (I feed mine every other day), and they don't require a filtered tank or an air pump. In fact, you don' really even have to clean the fish bowl more than once a month (it will look kind of gross if you don't, but the fish won't die). Also, I just moved my betta by car from Michigan to Colorado, and it survived. Very hardy fish.

I have a Husky who has been the easiest pet for me by far. I have 3 fish tanks too and no matter what anyone tells you they are not the easyiest to car for. I could wirte a book on fish. But I love to take care of them. I didn't think that I would. I raise and breed fancy guppies. I have a 35 gallon, a 29 gallon, and 1.5 gallon.

But for me to answer your question with all the animals that I have had in my life (and its a lot) I would have to say that my Husky was the easiest. She was right on with potty training, great with my kids, not picky on her food, altho she sheds all over the place she does not make a mess, she has never chewed up anything but sticks, and has NEVER bitten anyone.

don't listen to the kitty person snakes are not the easiest, they take a lot of work, any reptile does. the easiest would probably be a beta fish or if you want a pet that you can play with maybe a hamster.

All pets require so . But really, a fish is pretty easy. You feed it once a day, and clean is tank once a week.

Happy pet hunting!

so would i be cheating if i agreed with hermit crab? haha because i swear that's what my answer was going to be...they are VERY low maintenance, just need to feed em lettuce and fruits, i don't think they cost more than $5 per crab, and just make sure you have shells for them to move into when they get to big for their current one.
there are a lot of good websites to give you more information on them.
