Ferrets are not cuddly. Most of them do not even like to be held for long. You can take them outside, but only on a leash. They are expensive to keep and will rack up quite the vet bill when they get older in a lot of cases. Ferrets are very hyper and require a lot of care. PLEASE do not let a bunch of people on a website decide what pet you will get. We don't know your situation, your finances, your living situation, how much time and space you have aso. If you want something a bit easier to take care off that you can take outside, get a rat. They love riding on your shoulder or in the hood of your hoodie and are lovable intelligent creatures. Only drawback is, they don't live that long(2-4 yrs).

Guinea pigs are a good indoor pet. But if u take one outisde be very careful cause they are very prone to heat stroke. A gp can die from the heat in no time flat. I have 2 plus a Mini Rex rabbit. Mine are indoor pets. I let my bunny have run of the whole house except for the PC room and spare bedroom and the 2 boy gp's are only allowed in the living room and they all do okay exc a rabbit loves to chew on things. But when having a gp be careful around a cat or dog. I was lucky when I used to have my other gp before he passed away. His best friend at one time was a cat.

please get a ferret! coatimundi are not cuddly animals. We should know we had one living with us. My mother in-law had one and it was like having a herd of 3 year olds in the house. It was into everything, knocking everything down, chewing everything, peeing also. No amount of training would stop this behavior. He was eventually built a very, very large cage out in the barn. Which he escaped many times figuring the locks out each time we changed them or finding weak points in the fencing. They are alot like raccoons. check this site out http://www.ferretrescue.com/

Ferret sounds like a good idea, but get one that is already used to humans cause some can be nasty
O ya I agree with the person below me too. We had rats and they may be a little less frisky
