Sophie is 2 1/2 years old. Every time I finally catch her, normally by driving down the road,I kennel her for about an hour for punishment.Any ideas would be appreciated. I'm very scared of her getting run over or taken by someone.

I know this sounds funny, but here it goes.

My doggie is now 1 year and 2 months old, he is a male cocker spaniel. Yesterday I noticed that his ...balls kinda dropped down. They weren't visible before but now they hang down between his legs!

He doesn't hurt, he is happy and playfull, pees, eats normally and everything, he is just a bit snugglier than usuall.

Does this happen when a male dog matures? Or should I worry about that? Any advice?

I noticed he had doggy bad breath but thought it was just part of being a dog, but yesterday when we were bathing him I took a good look in his mouth, poor pup, he is missing some teeth and his gums look really bad! Money is tight, what can we do? Can these bad teeth kill him?

I know my dog can bark, because she does it all the time when someone pulls down our driveway or if someone knocks on the door. I want her to bark when she has to go outside to go to the bathroom. Right now all she does to alert us of the fact is she gets all excited and starts running around. I try to make her wait and ask her what she wants, but all this does is excite her more. Any suggestions?

This goes along with my earlier question - I have now talked to the vet, and my dog needs surgery to have a pin implanted in her leg to repair a break. The estimated bill is between $430 and $550. I am supposed to call the vet in the morning and tell him what I have come up with -- have to have at least half up front for him to do the surgery. We live pretty much paycheck to paycheck, and right now there is nothing extra, but I was going to try to squeeze $100 extra in for her, but $550 is out of the question. Are there any options for help paying a vet bill? I know her well being is my responsibility as a pet owner, but I just flat can't afford it. My husband says just leave her as is, but I can't in good conscience sentence her to a life of pain when the option to fix it is available. It's not her fault I can't afford it - Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

She called the vet. and he said it was normal, that it was part of the pin they put in, but we don't think so because the lump is squishy, warm to touch, and painful. When touched he reacts like he wants to bite. Could he have an infection even though he's been on antibiotics? His surgery was to repair a broken leg and was done about a week ago. Thanks for answering!

We have an 8 mth old female bulldog who seems a tad to aggressive. My husband says she is just a puppy but I don't think so. She growls and barks and tries to bite and actually will sometimes nip at us. Until a few days ago, she didn't scare me that much but now I am jumpy around her. I don't know if she senses my fear. She has never broken skin but has left marks on myself and my husband. He says to give it a bit but I am ready to ship her off to a glue factory. I don't think it is puppy playfullness. Obedient classes didn't help at all. We bought a collar that zaps her when she gets out of control but it doesn't faze her. The vet says she is an Alpha dog and we need to let her know that she isn't but nothing seems to help and I am at my wits end. She also just got done w/ being in heat and her behavior has worsened since then. Any connection? Any suggestions from other bull dog owners.
