Dogs: you can train and love forever well at least till they die or you die. Can be fun for little kids and adults very fun to have and great family members.
Disadvange: you have to go through the whole potty training/training and walking in the winter (unless you dont have winter) going on trips and all that.
Cat:Small and friendly cute and loving
disadvange: you have the litterbox the occasional throwing up a lot of shedding (unless you have a hairless cat) making sure they dont get out of the house.
Birds: Fun to train to talk and listen to cherping is peacful (sometimes)
Disadvange: Loud cherping at night cant have music on at night or the bird will be cherping all night loud cherping and you cant have cats unless there is a rare occasion were the bird and that cat get along
i would just say go with what you want and would work out best for you.

I would say that they are all good pets. I have 2 dogs, and 2 birds. The dogs are like my children, plus they show you love no matter what ya do to them. The birds are fun to watch and they are very smart. They can talk and are easy to take care of. As for a cat they are ok but not my favorite pet. i hate doing the litter boxes, and all of the hair they can leave on the floor.

I prefer dogs, we have more common interests. I like cats too. I have a hard time with the idea of locking a liberal animal like a bird in a little cage and calling it a pet. It just doesn't sit well with me. I think cats should be allowed outside, and dogs should not be kennelled or live on chains. That's just my opinion I suppose. That's why I live on an acreage. I would really like to be rid of fences altogether, but it is harder to teach the horses and cows to stay off the road than it is the dogs.

all are good. Birds would probably cost more because you would need to buy a cage, newspaper to line the cage with, cage toys to keep him/her busy, etc. If you got a dog you would just need a collar, leash, food/water bowls, license tags, and the occasional bone/treats. Chew toys are optional. For cats you would need a flea collar, license tags, food/water bowls, and a litter box. Of course you would need food for all of these animals. I've enjoyed having my dog because I can train her and take pride in what I have taught her. My cat just wants to be pet. My neighbors have a bird and they are always panicking on if it will fly out of the house or not. I believe dogs are best.

Dogs are by far and away the best pets, they will love their owner unconditionally. Cats are the most selfish animals living and only care about themselves. I never saw the attraction of owning a bird. What would be the point.

A bird? No way-they are very messy and very loud. We have two that my husband just had to have. I'm the one that has to wash and clean the cage out and listen to them screech all day long. Either a dog or a cat.

None are the best. It is what your lifestyle is good for. Remember when you say dogs and birds there are large and small. Consider your environment, the time you can spend, and the money you can invest (I say invest because having a pet gives the best return of any investment you can have). All need to be sure they have the best human and VET care.

Dogs of course, cause they are the funnest and give the most love. Cats only play with you when they are in the mood and birds are just boring, unless you get one that talks to ya, but even that can get annoying.

Dogs. Birds may say bad things. Cats claw and bite. Cats scrach your stuff up. Cats also get your toilet paper and tear it to shreads. Why do you think they call a dog mans best friend? The only bite. (sometimes) And mabie potty. But hey all animals do!!
