They said that her red blood cells are popping open so she is bleeding internal and is peeing blood. Blood samples were sent off for testing and should find out something tomoorw. This is very bad, I am so worried about her. If you have any ideas that might help her please let me know.

AIHA???????? That is what it sounds like, but it could be many things. There is nothing you can do until you get a diagnosis. I assume they made sure the dog was not totally anemic and needed a transfusion.
Just wait and see.

Yes I have heard of this happening. There is no way of knowing exact cause until the tests come back. The cause could be a number of things.

I never heard of such a thing in my life, but then I'm not a vet. I'm sure they know what they're talking about. It does sound very bad for her. If you end up having to euthanize her, it would be the kindest thing you could do for your best friend. Good luck sweetie.

It sort of sounds like IMHA to me too. Are her gums pale & does she seem tired all the time.
Here is a good website with information about it..

If it turns out to be IMHA, I would advise finding the best vet in your area, or even better, a vet college. I had a dog with it 2 years ago.

I feel so bad for you. The results will be in tomorrow. If things need to be quickly done, the vet will tell you. Calm down-it will turn out ok.

I had something similar but I had to put him down. My dog was look really down so I took him to the vet, they keep him over night to do test and stuff and found out he had cancer in one of his organs. When I went back 2 days later, he had gone down hill really really fast, he could wag his tail at me but that was about it. I told the vet to put him down. maybe your dog has something different.
