I miss him soooo much! I paid over $1,000.00 for him but don't want to spend that much now. Where can I find an affordable chi pup? Or is it too soon to look?

I've seen a lot of chi owners on this site talking about prenatal care for their chis. My concerned is what type of food specifically do you feed for prenatal chi care? is it a certain brand of puppy food? is it home made foods? what can i feed her to produce more milk? i was told by a vet to give her yogurt and cottage cheese but what if she refuses? then what do i feed her then?

I have a 6 month old puppy and we now have drak spots all over the carpet in places that he has peed and we have "cleaned" up with 8in1 Pet Stain remover. It SUCKS! We need a steam cleaner and good pet stain/urine/odor remover that works. Arm& Hammer doesnt work. Resolve is a pain. I need something easy to use and very effective. If it really works I dont care how much money it is. I hate the way my carpets look.

I Have always done dog rescue for many years. But mostly with Boston terriers and Pugs. We also did Bulldogs too. There were times we would get other dogs but rarely. then I became sick and disabled and could only do limited rescue on internet. I lost my boston in February the hardest thing I ever went through all alone, but he laid in my arms and went with peace. then I lost my handicap dog who was from rescue and i had her over 10 years, she passed last monday. but before that she had picked out a Beagle puppy from rescue unit that she liked. he is smart and very protective. i think she knew. but I am having a hard time finding research on the beagle breed. so please I will take any advise if you know this breed. thank you

My dog has allergies and has prescription drops for his eyes but the prescription says 1 drop in each eye once daily. But he needs it at least twice a day, in the morning and night. His eyes mat through the day, especially when it rains. Will Visine hurt my dogs eyes?

My Pitbull went after this guy and attcked him somehow got him to the ground and but his mouth around the guys neck and began to kill him but I stopped the Pitbull so should I

A: Keep the Pitbull? (I like my Pitbull)
B:Kill the Pitbull? (I would rather shoot it then have someone else put a needle in him to kill him)
C:Sell the Pitbull? (Could make lots of money I would sell it to like a guy who uses dogs to fight others for money because his deadly skills have to be showed)
D:Drive like 100 miles north leave the dog somewhere and go back home? (Pretty boring hopefully he will find a family)

So which A,B,C,D which should I do?

I want to get a chihuahua in the next year, but my family already has two cats (between 2-4 years old and male). Does it make a difference if the dog is male/female? It's more of a question of whether the cats will pick on the dog...

The pup was very sick but we got him to the Vet in time and he came home today. The other 2 dogs are fine. All the dogs have had their shots but I guess the pup's might not have taken. We cleaned up the yard, bleached as much as possible, threw out his bed, etc. Do we need to try to keep the dogs apart? What about drinking from the same water bowl? The dogs always drank from the same bowl before the illness and the older 2 are still fine.
I guess I feel that the aldult dogs were already exposed and must have been immune or they would have already caught parvo. Also is the pup in danger or reinfecting himself if we didn't get one area (carpet) bleached? Or if we possibly have the germs on our shoes, our fence, or whatever?

When I throw the ball my golden retriever tries to catch it with his paws, he’s succeeded a few times. A lot of people think it’s cute, but that creeps me out. Once I caught him trying to walk up right, at least I think that’s what he was doing. His two front paws were on the wall balancing him, and he was using his hind legs to walk, sideways! When I scold him, he lies on the floor belly up and kicks me repeatedly with his hind legs!

I know I am not supposed to punish a dog this way but its just that he was making so much progress and I was angry when I saw he urinated on our tile floor and I did rub his nose rather roughly and flung him outside. My wife has already scolded me about being rough with him so please dont add to my guilt. The problem is I have been as nice to him as I possibly can since the incident and lavish him with treats but if I bend down to pick him up even ever so slowly he piddles and turns over onto his back displaying his stomach which I beleive means he is showing he knows I am dominant.
