Of course. It doesn't matter what breed they are, as long as they were raised correctly. Just because it's a pit bull doesn't mean it's going to tear apart other dogs. I've known plenty of pit bulls that are great with other dogs. It's just the jerks who use them for their own personal fun by fighting them that give them an awful reputation.

Do not ever leave a pit bull unsupervised with another dog. Even if they have grown up together for 10 years without a spat. Pit bulls were bred for dogfighting and even if they don't start a fight they will finish it. Dog aggression is NOT the same as human aggression though. Never confuse the two. The dogs had to be handled while fighting and any pit that bit a person was put down. So they should never, ever show aggression toward a human. And dog aggression is not a negative thing, it just means that the owner needs to be more careful and never set their pit up to fail (dog parks, alone with another dog, only one toy for two dogs, etc...).

As long as they get along. There is a family with a pit bull and a doberman that brings the dogs to my local dog park all the time. Both are wonderful, sweet, lovey dogs and they play well with all the other dogs.

I would keep a very watchful eye on them, because Pit Bulls normally don't get along to well with other dogs.

If they have grown up together with no confrontations, maybe but not likely.
Keeping any two adults dogs in a backyard can lead to trouble. With no supervision and time to do nothing but stay in the backyard, you're asking for trouble.
My advice, don't do it unless you are there to watch them or are spending time playing with them.

Maybe if they are male and female. But even then I would not take the chance.
these are 2 breeds I do not trust and I have raised dogs and trained dogs since childhood.

if they are raised together why not? Honestly unless you are talking litter mates and then not always then either no dog should be left unattended with another. arguements do arise and if you are not there to mediate then you are asking for trouble.

Any dogs can be in the same yard together as long as they get along.
And pitbulls should not be outlawed.

if you raise dogs from birth together they learn to get along, if your talking about older dogs it really depends on the dogs behavior and how well the owner behaved them

Yes... they can.. and particularly if they grew up together, there would be no problem and even if they did not grow up together, they should be very good together
