i was sitting on the floor and was petting both dogs just as my japanese chin was about to lick my face the bision jumped on him and tried to bite his neck.. why did she do this to him? he was just gonna give me a kiss.... they usually get along fine.. they are in the kitchen together all day together... he is 10 and the bision is 3

she is competing for attention from you. maybe feeling left out or jealous

your other dog could be think he was going to bite you so your bision was trying to protect you -OR- he was putting the other one in his place if yo just recently got the chin
