From experiece I'd say about 21 day. & days coming in, 7 in and 7 going out of a heat period.

A lot depends on the dog. Our lab used to have to wear a doggie-pad/diaper thing for 4 weeks! Our house stunk, and I was in constant fear for my couch and carpet. As she got older, sometimes it would only be a week, or just a day. She'd still be in heat, but I wouldn't have to make her wear a pad. Thank goodness it's only twice a year!
