He is the one in the pic, he was 12.5 and had cancer in his throat and limpnods. It has all happened very fast over the last month that he got sick. He was my baby and I loved him so much.
I feel awful. I don't even wanna talk to my friends because I will cry in front of them and I hate crying in front of other people.
This is really crappy....

she keeps us up all night. I try not to pay attention to her, but end up going to her. I have let her sleep in a crate 3 nights, two nights in my room, one in our washroom down stairs. and than last night in a caged area (with a new little carrier and her toys and towels, and water and food.) and last night was the worst! The first night she woke up 8 times, which is understandable. the second night twice, but last night she slept from 8-12, and i went to bed at 11:30, then I was up with her from 1-3 and she woke up like always at 5... I have had her 4 nights but before we got her we had no power so we couldn't sleep do to heat, so my whole family hasn't slept for like a week. How do I get my sleep back and make my puppy not cry when I'm away? Even when she was in my room she'ld cry.... She has a little stuffed animal dog, and we have a big dog too, but she sleeps in my parents room, and i don't want the puppy sleeping there. PLEASE HELP!!

We got a half-Bichon/half-Sheltie dog over the weekend and are learning about its potty habits still. She's very comfortable sleeping in a crate, but overnight, we leave the door open so it can go if it needs to. She seems to be paper trained from the pet store she came from (since its enclosure was covered in newspaper), but we're trying to outdoor train it. We think that having it go on newspaper (we have a little potty area in the den) is good overnight, but we know it will only set back the crate training too.

Because it is so young, we're apprehensive to close the crate door for the full 8 hours we're asleep. I get up at 3AM to check on her, but she's already done her business. I am still adjusting my sleep to get her outside before that happens. How long will I have to do this?

Can she possibly be locked up for the full 8 hours without going in her crate yet?

My 9 week old Chihuahua puppy got her first booster shot out of a series of 4 shots last week.

Can I take her out for a walk on the street? Or, do I have to wait until she completes the booster shot series? Or should I continue keeping her in my back yard/house? Can she still catch Distemper, Parvo, etc.?

Thanks.

My dog, Gypsey runs away when we let her out. When we're ready to let her back in she just runs with us chasing her all over the yard!!!! Not to minchin the fact that she runs around town and thinks it's a game when you try to catch her. We don't want to put a fence around the yard or put her in a cage when we let her out.
Any suggestions??$**

Okay, so I just came across some forums where people were talking about Cesar (The Dog Whisperer)... Well, there's this website and the guy who runs it (Ed Frawley) likes to "dominate" the dog by choking it until it passes out... He does all kind of stupid crap that I completely disagree with and are down right abusive to dogs.... It's cruelty... Well, these forums were the forums from Ed's website and someone had asked what people think of Cesar. Ed replied and said he likes him b/c he's not afraid to "choke out a dog".... He mentioned what Cesar did and said, "I like the fact that he is not afriad to choke out a dominant aggressive dog - like the aggressive pitbull that took a nap on TV - all you saw was the begining of the fight and then the dog laying on the gound taking a nap with Cesar loosening the nylon choke collar as the dog wakes up." Now I don't believe that Cesar would do something like that... Sooo, my question is, does anyone know if this is actually true?
