If you have never had a pet before i would suggest a cat they are much less work than a dog, feed them, change their litter box, pet them, and they will love you. And cats don't lick you, atleast most don't..... Just make sure you spay/neuter it or get it from a humane society. Best of luck!

I really suggest checking out the shelter or a rescue group for an older, say 1 - 2 years, dog that has already developed it's personality and hopefully had some training. It will be much easier on you as a first time dog owner not to have to go through the puppy stage. There are hundreds of great dogs awaiting loving homes. Check the ones out in your area in Petsfinder.com

It really depends on your personality. Dogs, like humans, have different temperments. If you are energetic you may like a Terrier. If you stay at home and like a cuddly friendly dog, then Dachsunds are for you. Dalmations are spastic and need to have room to roam. If you like water sports then stay with Labradors. Ask around and make sure that you don't pick a pet based on its looks. Cats are the same don't get a long haired variety if you don't have time to comb and brush it. Also, remember pets require you to have a steady income. You will have vet bills, food, toys, and other neccesities to think about. And don't forget about when you go on vacation...I hope this helps.

I personally recomend one like the one I have: her daddy is a short-haired Chihuahua and her mom is a Havanese. They come out not too hairy, but really smart and lovable, not to mention friendly, social and loyal. The best part is that they will not be bigger than 10 pounds! making them excellent for traveling. I have a nice picture that can show you the two possible looks on the pups, if you are interested.

do no longer bypass to the preserve until you discover out approximately cats. era. you're so clueless precise now which you should heavily do something incorrect and harm the cat. precise off the 1st issue that bothers me is those 2 German Shepherds. you opt for a cat who like canines without even thinking for one minute that the canines will in all probability kill the cat. What solid does it do if the cat likes canines and the canines, 2 vast canines i might upload, have never considered a cat and maximum probably won't like it?!! no longer solid making plans! you may no longer practice a cat to no longer run away fairly if 2 vast shepherds are after it! reckoning on the place you're you should deploy wood trellis on your balcony to assist shop the cat there yet cats can climb so which you would be wanting a roof of extra trellis, this helps air and lightweight to return in. look on line for balcony enclosures for cats. it extremely is super you opt for an older cat! you should discover out if the preserve has given the cat it extremely is photographs and de-wormed it and has it been examined for FIV and Felv and is it spayed or neutered and no count if it extremely is microchipped. in spite of they have not performed you will ought to do. discover a competent vet first so which you would be able to take the cat in for a examine up and in spite of desires to be performed. larger respiration an infection fairly in lots of instances occurs by using fact of preserve situations. you opt for a muddle container, muddle, grooming procedures if the cat is lengthy hair (yet a minimum of one brush even for a short hair), nail clippers (no longer scissors) and the vet or preserve persons to instruct you the style to clip the claws on the 1st of each and each month, bowls for water, kibble, and canned nutrition + nutrition, treats, toys, a cat tree, scratching kit, and so on. It would not provide up once you have paid the adoption fee. So study up on cat care. come to a determination what you're searching for in a cat, energetic and playful, or calm and is a lap cat. those usually are no longer all in the comparable cat. Get all your information until now you bypass so which you're waiting. solid success!

I highly reccomend a cockapoo. they're a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle. I have one. He's ADORABLE, and he's about 25 pounds. He's little to medium sized. He has lots of fur but dosen't shead. He's EXTREMELY friendly, not noisy, and was VERY easy to potty train. They're also reasonably priced, since they're not purebreads.

I suggest getting a beagle! They are very friendly and intelligent, and easy to train. They have short fur, which is easy to maintain. My beagle knows about 20 different tricks!

i say a golden retriever. ( its a dog incase some people didnt know that) they are really playful so if you love to play with dogs those are a must have. they also are easy to train to do tricks or to hunt, and they are very protective of their owner. i have one named lucky and he loves to play all the time! and hes so protective that he wont let my other dog near me or when my uncle picks me up to give me a hug he will grab on to my ankle and try to pull me away from him. its your choice of what you want, but if you want a dog i recimend a golden retriever.
