I have two kittens who are 4 months old. And they seem to be hungry all the time. I feel like I'm already feeding them too much. I give them a can of wet food for breakfast, and then another one for supper. and they eat it all up. And then i just leave out dry food for them all day long incase they get hungry. but they seem to eat all that up too. Am i feeding them too much. How many times a day should i feed them? Is it bad for there health if i feed them too much or will i just have chubby cats?

I live in rural area, and when I am gone from home, raccoons have a field day eating all my outside cats food. I prefer not to kill them, and a live trap would not work as I am sometimes gone for several weeks at a time. Any suggestions. and thanks.

My kitten had diarrhea all down her butt and legs. I washed her backend with human shampoo . But she has long hair and now it is clumped together.
She is over the diarrhea .I can't find cat shampoo. I can't brush or comb her hair back the way it was.I washed her again thinking maybe I left shampoo in her hair but it didn't help. She still might have poo in her hair , Her hair is light brown so I can' tell. What lse can I use to clean her.

i have had her for about 7 weeks now and she is litter trained, very well! she is an outgoing cat, very friendly, and doesnt get into trouble. i feed her well and all that good jazz, but last ngiht she had an accident in my bed. she is not sick, has not had problems eating or drinking, and still runs around and is healthy. is this normall for kittens to maybe just "wet the bed" liek small children do when they are sleeping? or should i worry and see if somethign is wrong by taking her to the vet? this may sound silyl i know, but this is my first cat, im not realy familure about them! thanks for the help!!!

Don't worry, this isn't for morbid reasons, but it's on my mind: are there laws against killing domestic animals like cats and dogs? Does it fall under animal cruelty? Can anyone cite actual laws?

We always keep it clean. Even if there's nothing in it but litter, he goes next to it. I hate to sound graphic but it's never normal stool. It's almost diarreah. Any ideas?

I dont know whats wrong. I had one die a week ago at four weeks. This one is five weeks. He is weak and when I found him this morning he was cold. I got his body temp up and he is still breathing and every once in a while he will cry. I gave him some water with a dropper and he drank it. The mom is still acting intreasted in him and she is cleaning him but he wont nurse. I cannot take him to the vet. It is not an option, because I have no money. Someone please tell me what I can do to save him? Or maybe what could be killing him. I dont want the last one to die too.

A guy at my work said he wanted to offer me some money to watch his cat while he's out of town. He lives on the same road as me. What is a fair amount to charge? $5 a day?

this is a young cat who was abandoned by the roadside , we have had her for about a year, she is settled and happy as far as we can see, lives in a large house with a walled garden, eats regularly and sleeps on our bed...I just don't know what to do about this!

A guy was talking to me about how a cheetah couldn't beat a pit bull in a fight. I told him he was wrong. He told me, "Hell I'm not even afraid of a cheetah." I told him they might look skinny but if you seen one in real life you'd be scared. If not scared, if it attacked you, a cheetah wouldn't be so much of a non threat. I told him you couldn't get him off you. He's a pretty big guy. However, the cheetah would be on his a** before he could even take a swing at that mother you know what. I'm right, right? No human is a match for a cheetah, and as far as the pit bull goes I think a full grown cheetah would take a pit bull?

My foster cat has been producing a bloody ( not really bloody ) discharge for the past 2.5 hours. And there is still no kitten. She is very young only about 1year old. I can feel the babies and they are still moving around. Is this normal? What do cat contractions look like?

She has always used her litter tray until around 5weeks ago where I arrived home to a lovely sight in my kitchen sink. When the sink is full of dirty dishes she goes to the bath instead! Better than the carpets but still not ideal!

My Mom's cats testicles are enlarged. I told her that he needs to go to the vet... I am hoping she will but she is not one for doctors... which I can understand but his testicles are enormous. This is not normal at all. What could be causing this? Anyone else been through something similar?

I am looking for a law, ordinance, or town bylaw that is now on the books that can serve as a model for local legislation. This is for my town in the USA. All answers with information appreciated!

Can I take them on the plane? Will they have to go in cargo? Will they have to be sedated? Will I have problems getting them through customs? Is there anything else I haven't thought of?

Thanks,
Pete
