A guy was talking to me about how a cheetah couldn't beat a pit bull in a fight. I told him he was wrong. He told me, "Hell I'm not even afraid of a cheetah." I told him they might look skinny but if you seen one in real life you'd be scared. If not scared, if it attacked you, a cheetah wouldn't be so much of a non threat. I told him you couldn't get him off you. He's a pretty big guy. However, the cheetah would be on his a** before he could even take a swing at that mother you know what. I'm right, right? No human is a match for a cheetah, and as far as the pit bull goes I think a full grown cheetah would take a pit bull?

Cheetahs are definitely dangerous unless they are tamed but they are extra dangerous when they are starving or when you are they're territory but if you get in they're territory when they starving you are dead meat. And yes a cheetah would tear your friend to pieces would probably even kill hem and the pit bull would be a goner

Actually cheetahs are not natural-born killers. They have to be taught by their mothers when they're cubs how to hunt, kill and such. Also they aren't pack animals, they live in solitude and once the cubs are old enough to live on their own they leave so I guess that if you came across a cheetah and didn't pose any sort of threat then you would be okay but I wouldn't go out and try that unless that cheetah was very used to human interaction but even then they aren't tame. Besides, a cheetah speed and agility on its side as well as claws that can't retract so they always have theirs claws out. I don't think a pit bull can last very long against that.

Of course; Cheetahs are stealthy and they have excellent eye site. I would bet that a cheetah would more then likely out run a pit bull, but there is a chance a pit could kill a cheetah if it was able to catch one, but cheetahs can take down a full grown gazelle, so it would be a fierce battle, but I would in the end bet on the cheetah.

Cheetah's are huge cats, smaller than a lion but still quite large, and extremely fast. I would say if I pit bull could get a lock jaw on a cheetah's neck they might win, but the cheetah is so fast I think it would shred the pit bull to ribbons.

This is purely a hypothetical fight because Cheetah's are not very aggressive, but they are big cats, very fast and strong, and if it came down to a situation where they had to fight I would expect one to be capable of taking out an unarmed human with out that much trouble. A pit bull isn't as well armed, and I would expect would be at a big disadvantage in a fight for survival since the dog can only bite, and the cat has both huge cutting teeth as well as claws.

This is kind of a weird question, but I'd say a cheetah would definitly eat the heart out of your buddy's chest. Same goes with the pitbull, plus they're super fast!

First a cheeetah wouldn't go near a pitbull or a human if it had the choice.
If it did however have the opertunity based on muscle mass and speed a cheetah would have the dog and your friend riped open before you could say "oh crap!"

your buddy couldn't be more wrong, any big cat would tear a dog apart if need be , but i'm pretty sure the cheetah would run away instead of facing the stupid dog unless she had kittens or was cornered than your friends dog would be easily slayed.
