My Mom's cats testicles are enlarged. I told her that he needs to go to the vet... I am hoping she will but she is not one for doctors... which I can understand but his testicles are enormous. This is not normal at all. What could be causing this? Anyone else been through something similar?

Years ago my neighbor had a cat with similar problems. I think the cat was diagnosed with an infection in the testicles and they had to be removed. It could be a number of things, but the best bet is to see a vet.
P.S. Cool name. I also read the Wheel of Time series. I'm on book 8 now.
P.P.S. I watched that video about animals you have posted and I hope you don't mind but I copied it to show to a few people. Thanks.

Swollen testicles are not good, you are right. The cat really needs to be taken to see a veterinarian. If there's an infection, it could enter the bloodstream and kill the animal.
Please, encourage your mom to take the kitty to the doctor, and if she won't, do it for her and for the cat.
It's a good idea to get the little guy neutered while your dealing with this problem, as that's the best way to ensure this doesn't happen again:)
Good luck!

That's great if your mom isn't a "doctor type of person". If there is something wrong with her then she can suffer, but it is her responsibility as a pet owner to take the cat to a vet.

If she doesn't she can be charged with animal neglect which is a felony in some states.

Do the right thing and take the cat if she doesn't.

I've never met this problem, but it could be infection or cancer. he must go to the vet immediately, because you can save him if treated quickly, later he might be in danger. It is a pity to have an animal and not give him the care he needs.
