Tigsy gave birth to 5healthy little kittens last night.
Are kittens born with fleas? As I found one on one of the kittens and yet mum is defleaed.

Where and what can I buy to use on kittens and nursing mum to get rid of the fleas?

When do I need to worm them? and can I use panacur paste from such an early age?

Thanks

My puppy, Baloo, already knows not to poop or pee inside the house during the day, because we keep the door open for him. He only does it inside sometimes. The problem is that at night he pees and poops normally in a little area in his room, he doesn't know he's supposed to hold it until the morning like he should, and I don't know how to teach him. We do not want to put him into a cage, whatever it takes to not have to put him into a cage. What have you done with your dog?

I just got a leopard gecko 4 days ago, but he's still not eating. From the time we got him until now, the only thing he ate was one small cricket. I've tried small crickets, large crickets, mealworms, dusted crickets, undusted crickets, nothing is working. The temperature in his cage in in the upper 70's, lower 80's. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions please would be great.

if you go into the bathroom without her, she goes into this panic, and will sit there scratching the door.

if she does manage to make it in there, she just sits there and watches us.

it's weird, does anyone else's dogs do that

I just got a new kitten and when we get her fixed, we were going to only get her front claws declawed. Only because I have a dog, and my dog loves cats, but we feel that if she scratches my dog, my dog might not understand. We did it with our last cat, and they got along great, except my cat started peeing everywhere after she was declawed. We just heard that it was because we declawed her? Is it true? Will that always happen? And will my new cat do anything else?

I have a 25 gallon tank planted etc it has 2 hillstream loaches and 8 white clouds, (hillstream loach/butterfly setup is fine, algae, wood, high flow over their patch etc so no advice please). I know red tailed sharks (which are actually catfish) can live with the loaches but i need to know if they can live with white cloud mountain minnows.(i also know to only get one shark)
p.s please no advice on being overstocked, understocked, hillsttream loach setups etc. the tank is overfiltered and has a aerator etc.
so basically can the red tailed shark live with the minnows
Thanks for any answers!

Have you ever heard of a male betta having dropsy but building huge bubble nests, flaring, eating and swimming? Is this possible? Or he doesn't have dropsy at all? His body is swollen in one part and is not subsiding, but everything else is normal. The swelling has been there for about 2 weeks now.
He is in a 5gallon tank.

I already called the vet and asked if they were supposed to give me something for him but they said no. Two other vets said that they can see him after the weekend and then give him something but he is suffering now and will hardly move from the couch. His appetite is fine as long as I bring it to him. I cant even get him to go outside for a bathroom break. He wants to lick that spot alot and he's a bit restless. He is a large 72lb lab and about 2 years old. It was Tuesday night and today is Saturday already.

I got a Yoyo Loach last weekend. He (she?) is young, only about an inch long.
Over the past couple days His tummy seems to be swelling and now he looks really odd because it is so distended.

My husband is convinced that he is just over eating and that it will go away. We had a snail problem, and knew they were voracious eaters, but didnt know they were THAT voracious. Now there are hardly any snails in the tank aside from empty Trumpet Snail shells (he seems to like those better than the pond snails).

Other than the belly, he seems fine. He is acting just like he always has, spending every spare moment searching for more snails. He has no spots or leigions.

Is this normal? What can I do? I cant very well take away the source of the food. Could it be something else ?I was thinking dropsy, be he seems fine other than the tummy

I'm going to buy my first canister filter for my new sea star 45 gallon tank. I've never used one before so I dont know which brand to shoot for. All my other's are aquaclear. Which is the best for quality and useability.

Is there a good fish to clean a fish tank with 7 goldfish, 5 cory cats, 8 white clouds and a betta. This is a 27 gallon (36*12*15) tank and those fish were gifts. I know how messy goldfish are so don't tell me many times that they are I KNOW. The probleme is mostly algae and cyanobacteria.

Ok, I need some serious answers on this one.

I have 3 cats - 2 are 4 years old and the other is 9 yrs. They have all been together for 3 years now and have gotten along fine up until recently. We moved into our new apartment 2 weeks ago today and haven't had any problems until the day before yesterday. My flame point siamese(very sensitive and a big spoiled brat baby) started hissing at the other 2 for no reason at all. Mainly the oldest one. There are no health issues, all get the same amount of attention, absolutely NOTHING has changed from the normal. Since he's the spoiled baby he usually gets all the attention. To discipline him I put him in another room for a "time out" so he can chill - yes just like a child. He spends abount 5 - 10 mins in there and comes out, if he continues it goes to 15 mins.

He knows I'm the alpha cat so he won't hurt me but he'll hiss at me and I won't beat him. I just don't understand what his issue is all of the sudden.
