My boyfriend and I had a bit of a debate the other day because he keeps his cat outside all night, whereas I feel better keeping mine indoors overnight. He says it's not fair to keep a cat cooped up like that since it wants to be outside (plus, he says if his cat stays inside it wakes him up every ten minutes) but I say it's not safe for the cat to be out all night. He told me it's no less safe then it being out in the daytime (since I do let my cats in and out during the day. Well, except for one, she's just an indoor kitty).....I dunno, what do you guys think, and how do you do things with your own cats?

I want to make my freshwater tank into a salt water tank. It is only 20 gallons, but I want to get like clown fish and fish like that. I always take very good care of my tank, and fish. I have some freshwater fish, but I will wait till' they die off. (I know that sounds mean, but they will die eventually) I REALLY want this to happen. Would I need to buy a new tank, and filter? I want to use the one I have now.

my cat is a first time mother, she had her first kitten at about 11 pm last night, it is now about 1 pm the next day and she off and on acts like she is going into labor with the next kitten, even had liquid squirt out when she was licking back there, I know there is more she is huge and she is continuing to act like theyre coming but then there is nothing, the first kitten is healthy and my cat is eating and drinking and seems fine, but I keep reading that if it takes longer than 12 hours between kittens to bring them to a vet, which a) im 16 with only a permit and nobody else is home b) I cannot afford a vet
please help!!

I work nights so about 2a.m. I take my dog( AmStaff) for a walk in the park. I have for years.
This morning we were confronted by a German Shepard that growled at me or us for that matter.
We tried to avoid him,but he attempted to corner us and my dog became protective, grabbed him by the neck,shook him like a dog toy and pinned him.
Next thing I know there is a Police officer, gun drawn threatening to shoot my dog.
It turns out the shepard was a K-9 officer sent into the park to search for a burglary suspect.
I spent the night in jail, my dog is still at Animal Controll and we are being charged with assaulting the K-9 officer who agressed on us.
And YES! Pluto was on a leash the whole time.

Will the charges stick?

OK SO HERE THE DEAL WE RESCUED A PREGNANT MUTT 9 MONTHS AGO SHE WAS PREGNANT AND WE TOOK HER AND HER PUPPIES IN AND GOT HER SPAID AND FOUND HOMES FOR ALL THE PUPPIES! WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS DOG (SASHA) AND SHE IS THE NICEST DOG WE COULD EVER ASK FOR AND THE GREATEST!!! ANYWAY BEFORE WE GOT THE FENCE PUT UP WE HAD HER TIED UP FOR LIKE 5 MIN AND I WAS STANDING OUT SIDE WITH HER SHE JUST NEEDED TO GO POTTY. THEN ARE NIEBORS WHO LIVE ACROSS THE STREET DIDNT SEE ME STANDING THERE AND THEY CUT ACROSS MY YARD KICKING AT MY DOG AND YELLING AT HER CAUSE SHE WAS BARKING AT THEM. THEN THEY SAY THE DOG BIT THEM AND SHE WAS ON OUR PROPERTY AND SHE NEVER BIT THEM I WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME THERE WAS NOT BITE MARKS AND THE COP DIDNT BELIVE THEM. THESE PEOPLE ARE DRUGIES AND THE OTHER NIGHT SOEMONE WAS SHOT AT THERE HOUSE SO THAT PROVES THEY ARE JUST LOSERS. I recently heard about putting goldfish in livestock (mosty horses and cattle) water tanks to help keep the tanks cleaner. However I just read a post on here that said basically goldfish weren't a good idea b/c they don't normally eat algea. What about the algea eaters? Those sucker fish? Would they work?

Some just faded and others' colour went in patches. Other goldfish in pond not affected except one Koi which started off navy blue all over (he's about 8 years old). He started losing colour round his scales on his back and now his back is totally white/silver while his lower scales are blue/black and still gradually turning white.
He's otherwise very healthy - same as the goldfish. Help!!!

a baby bird just fell out of the tree and he can't fly.... what do i do? we have a bunch of cats around he won't make it through the night if his mom doesn't come back. Can i bring him anywhere? Do i just leave him? I want to cry it makes me feel so bad! i am a crazy animal lover.
