Rabits are bad pets. They're not very lovey or intelligent.

The good news is that they usually die in a couple of years, so you can make a better choice next time and get a cat or dog.

No, it's not normal. one of two or three things is probably happening...
Either, your feeding it the wrong kind of food...there's Alfalfa...that's bad for a rabbit to eat all the time, it makes them extremely hyper and almost to the point of being angry.
OR: you have a dwarf rabbit...that is even worse. For some reason, the Dwarf Rabbits have serious bad attitudes, combined with the alfalfa, you've got a demon on your hands.
OR: Your not feeding it often enough and when you get in there to feed it, it's so hungry that it attacks you.

When I had my rabbits I learned that you have to ALWAYS have food & of course water in their cage for them. And a little alfalfa (maybe 2ce a week) is good for them and helps keep them youthful but to much and it's not good. Also, you should interact with your rabbit(s)...sit on the floor, put them on your lap and hand feed them several times a week. This will make your bunny realize that your not gonna hurt it, that you love it, and it puts your scent on them so they're always smelling you and when you come around, they know the smell so they welcome you.
ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT, If you have your rabbit in a cage, you absolutely HAVE to make sure you get that rabbit out of that cage at LEAST once a day and give it some room to stretch it legs and jump around...maybe a bedroom or a bathroom...I know it'll poop everywhere but it's extremely easy to clean up...if you use the bathroom to let it run, it's just a matter of a broom and dust pan to clean up the poop. If you put a Kitty Litter Box whereever you put the rabbit and put it inside the Kitty Litter Box, IT WILL USE IT AS IT'S BATHROOM. Every single rabbit I had instantly used the litter box...They're fantastic pets.

I've found that bunnies are very fickle. But if you love it/them, they'll love you back.

Are you SURE that it's a 'he'? If your rabbit were female, then there would be a good chance of her getting territorial like that when she hits 4-6 months old. My first rabbit did the same thing, but when I removed the top of her cage, she'd become completely relaxed and friendly. If it turns out that he is really a she, then spaying should reduce the problem (also try removing the top when you need to feed her/take her out, like I did).

If you're positive that it's a he, than neutering might help, too.

My rabbit started doing that when she was nearly one. A friend of mine who also has a pet rabbit said that she needs a salt lick as she can sense the salt on our skin and she is trying to get to the salt. I bought one from the pet shop and she never bit anyone ever again for the next 4 years or so. Also remember to have fresh water available at all times as it makes them thirsty.

No it is not normal. Rabbits are very social animals and can become so affectionate wit their humans that they will actually lick them, which how rabbits groom each other. You don't say where you got your rabbit , but, my guess is that it is an older rabbit and may have been abused or neglected when it was younger.

No, I wouldnt think so. My rabbit luvs it when I give her the food. She never bites or scratches me. u should try wearing long sleeves when u do it so he won't bite or scratch u on the arm.

Not normal. Ours did the same thing and I was told that he's become territorial, and you need to break that by handling him many times each day as well as consider getting him neutered. Neutering changes their demeanor and he will most likely become more mellow. The only catch is that it's recommended you do it before a certain age.

Maybe your rabbit hasn't come to trust you yet. Or, maybe your rabbit thinks you are trying to steal his or her food, and tries to attack you.

No, if it is used to you, its not normal, ive had my bunny for 3 years he jumps out of his cage and hops around me and jump on me until i give him his food, hes so excited, how long have you had him/her? if its not long, he/she needs to get used to you more, try petting him first and maybe giving him a little treat (veggies?) before you put his food in, good luck :)

EDIT-
Maybe hes just not a friendly bunny? i guess its possible
