The kinds of bunnies I like are the Netherland Dwarf bunnies and Lop- eared bunnies. How much do both usually cost?

There not very expensive. It's the Playboy Bunnies that are expensive.

Well Netherland Dwarf rabbits r prolly more around the line of 20$ The lops r a different story...It completely depends on wat kind of breed of a lop u want. Like a French Lop or an English Lop r prolly expensive but I got a Holland Lop for only 20$

Kristen is about right on the money. Rabbit's typically run from about $15 to about $250 for a really good show rabbit.

If you are wanting a rabbit to show, don't go to a pet store. Pet stores know little about rabbits and will call about any small rabbit a Dwarf, when that is not the case.

If you can, I recommend going to a person that shows rabbits. They will give you a better quality rabbit for your money and they will give you better information as far as how take care of it properly. Also, when you get a rabbit off of a breeder you have the nice opportunity of calling them up to ask questions when you have a problem. Most rabbit breeders are very helpful to people that have rabbit questions.

At an animal shelter they're around 35-45 dollars where I live [Houston], but that's a good price considering that the rabbits are already spayed and house trained.
At some petstores I see them for 25-35 dollars, but I got mine for $20.

Oh, ok lets add some other stuff just incase you wanted to know.
Cages can be around 30-50 dollars..depending on size. Food is usually 3-4 dollars. a water bottle...2-4 dollars too.

Petstore (Petsmart & Petco) are really expensive they are $125 and up . But they are all ready fixed. I have show French Lops and Holland Lops and I sell them for $15.00 as pets and $40.00 - 60.00for to be shown. I buy my breeding stock for $30-65.00. It all varies depending where you go. Plus you have to get a cage, food , water bottle, and more.

Go to a farm supply store or pet store and find out - you will also need food, a habitat and other supplies. Get a book on rabbit care while you are at it.
