I work and go to class, and love animals, dogs especially. I'd love one to play with and take care of. Someone is offering me one for free.

Beginning Wednesday at 3am she started having diarrhea. All Wednesday and all Thursday. But thursday evening she started showing a little blood at the end of her BMs. She ate and played as normal. I had decided to take her to the vet but Friday morning she vomited and it was strange because she vomited carrots which I had not fed her the day before. Plus there was this mess of hair (long hair) and sticks and who knows what all weaved together in a clump. I don't know what to make of all this but after that, she had her first "mush" BM in three days. All the rest were watery. So I just need help in deciding what to do next. Should I go ahead and take her to the vet, or should I wait and see if the diarrhea is over. I know you people get on these questions fast so I will wait to read some of your opinons before I decide.

This is more of a statement than a question. My african grey timneh is saying hello real plain,....I just noticed it is talking alot better in the room with the light out and the door open,...saying all kinds of stuff. It turned 1 at the beginning of November. I was a bit worried for awhile that it wouldn't talk. But am happy now!
Anyone else get as excited when their parrot starts talking as I do? It is like one of your children learning their first word? :)

I have had at least one pet throughout my whole life.Shortly before my first child, my degu passed away. It has been almost 4 years now since i havent had a pet and I dearly want one.
My b.f. doesn't like pets but he see's how much I want one and agreed if I could find a low maintance pet that my children wouldnt kill or that wouldnt kill my kids I could have it.
PLEASE don't suggest fish!

What is a quality dog food?? I currently feed my chihuahua's Royal Canin...but I'm leaning towards more a holstic brand...Any recommendations? I like Canine Caviar...any thoughts?

I have a male Brussels Griffon not a year old yet. I need help with housebreaking him. Came to me paper trained. I got him trained to go outside and then the Vet would not allow him to go outside until he had all his shots, now I cannot get him to go outside or litter box train him. He is confused. What can I do?? Please Help!!!!

My cat keeps licking herself on her back (mostly the left and right side) to the point where she has no fur left and she has blisters. She's 10 years old but she's only had this problem for 2 years. Her vet gives her shots every 3 months which helped for awhile but now it's not helping much. What is wrong with this picture? Should I be more concerned?

one day when we were a the storage lockers we let our chow out of the car and she went to the road and i kept yellin her name and i told my nana and my siter that she was gonna get hit by a car and she did. the car slammed into her. i screamed really loud. after she walked over to us like nothin happened. and a cop was driving by and asked us it everythin was ok and we told him hat happened and he couldnt help us cuz we didnt have the licence plate # or anything. so when we brought her home we all got out of the car and she couldnt move her legs. i started to cry so hard. i had to pick her up and put her on the ground she tried to walk and everytime she did she was limping. we slept with her that night on the floor. i cried everytime i saw her that night. i felt so bad

I have two dogs, two male who are best friends Rich and Charu. BOTH of my dogs have taken up snoring!! My male American Pit Bull Terrier (Rich) snorts (like a pig), snores (like a drunken old man), snores louder than a human would. Charu (a real tomboy), the puppy Puggle, snores quite loudly when he sleeps on his back.
Stop snoring? ANY ADVICE?????

I have a cat named "One Eyed Jack". She is so named because of that reason- she is missing her right eye completely. Born with this problem I was wondering (veterinarians) if it is possible to place a glass eye in the socket without any adverse effects. I'd still love her anyways if i couldn't, but for my own curiosity I would like to know.
