I have a 9 month female german shepherd. She is well natured, however sometimes (not all the time) she will go into an absolute frenzy when we meet other dogs on the street. She wears a halti, and has been taken to obedience classes with other dogs since she was 3 months old. When we see the dog, I tell her 'No' but she does not respond to her name or anything. She wriggles around, barks, trying to get at the other dog. She has pulled me over twice now and it's starting to hurt now!! My partner walks her also, she will bark with him but none of the lungeing etc.

Any advice?

I have a female cat approx 14 yrs old. She went in the litter box and didn't do anything, then ran around the house screaming as if she was in pain. Then she was hiding under my bed with a terd hanging out. Sorry for the details, but it appears she is having difficulty. I'm not sure if it's because she has maybe chewed on our fake Xmas tree, or something else. She cleans herself a lot and always pukes up fur balls. Her belly is wide and the vet says she's healthy, but probably has fur balls that haven't passed one way or another. I don't want to leave her alone in pain, but I also don't want to rush her to the vet if it's something that will pass on it's own.

I have a 9 month old maine coon & a 5 month old maltese. They both eat wet food now, but the vet told me to change there diets to a very good dry food. Does anyone know of any ways to do this without making them so hungry. I tried the new stuff you pour on the dry food (made for dogs) and only my cat will eat it, and even then he picks at it. Anybody have any suggestions.. Oh & also I put some water in the dry food to soften it up and neither of them liked that idea!

My puppy is very affectionate and not aggressive at all. Will neutering him change him into a lethargic, lazy dog? We live in a very rural area so I want to neuter him to remove his urge to find females when they are in season.

My cat was recently killed when she was hit by a car on a main road near to my house. My wife and I are absolutely devestated and at first said she simply could not be replaced. A week has gone by now and we are starting to realise that we need something to fill the void left by her. We are keen now to get a kitten but are very concerned about the dangers of the near by main road. Is is possible for a cat to be contained within either the house or the house and garden. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

This guy named Jon Feilder is selling a cute little bulldog saying he only wants $200 for shipping and handling. and only $100 of it goes to him the other 100 goes to an orphanage in africa... this is the email he sent me......we are giving jenny and windy out inorder to help raise funds for an orphanage in a small african country. we leave in canada and our pups are as beautiful as you see them on the pictures. there is no adoption fee charged. all we want is for someone who is willing to pay for their flight to show up and they are all he's. we will be charging $200 for shipping and this money will be paid to us only in one instalment. $100 will be sent to us and the remaining $100 will be sent directly to the orphanage....Do you think this is a scam? how can i have him prove that its not? He said he must get the money first be4 he'll send it out because of past things that have happened ... where he has not gotten his money... any ideas?? any help Thanks!! Jessica

I have 2 dogs that have been raised around each other. out of nowhere my pitt bull attacked my other dog and now the 2 cant even see each other without freaking out and trying to fight. I love my dogs and don't want to get of my pitt bull, but I dont know what to do about this. has anybody had the same experience with their dogs? what would cause the sudden change, and how can I fix it before putting him down.

I'm taking my yorkie on a short 2 hour flight to chicago tomorrow. He gets to sit in the cabin, but has to stay in his carrier bag under the seat. A google search sends me to a product called Travel Ease. It's a natural sedative. Does it work? Can you suggest anything?

I know he will be wary of us to begin with and nothing smells of home yet but I thought (perhaps naively) that he might be coaxed into playing little games with string or toys, or at least come out of the cardboard box we gave him sometimes, but he hasn't, except when we are asleep or we leave the house! We've only had him a few days though so maybe I am over-worrying.. Should I be worried? I am quite new to cats.
