If the birthing passage was too small for the first litter, it will be for the second litter. She needs to be spayed..Problem solved..(I used to breed Chihuahuas).. You can have an ultrasound done at 55 days gestation, to see of she can deliver, but I would just make an appointment for a scheduled C-section and spay..

Honestly? I'd get her in to the vet for an emergency spay now. Yes, that will mean terminating the pregnancy, but obviously your dog can not handle delivery, as evidenced by what happened last time. It sounds like this is not a planned litter, which means that you're not being responsible for your dog, and that the care & consideration that should be used when breeding dogs isn't being done here.

Your dog will be happier, healthier, and less stressed out if you get her fixed.

Schedule the c-section NOW. See a vet ASAP for advice. Have a spay done at the time of the c-section. this dog should not have another litter.

You should have had her de-sexed after the irst litter! But she is deffinitely at extremely high risk of complications as a result f her first pregnancy...mill most probably have to be an assisted pregnancy once more

Im appalled that you risk her life to have another litter. Get her in to be spayed before she is too far along.

you are going to have to do the same thing again she is too small to breed please get her fixed. I am real advocate of shelters and I help out in shelters and you would not believe the purebred animals i see come through there simply because ppl will not sterlize their animals . good luck and god bless and happy holidays.
