I just got the fish yesterday, the water was not cloudy last night. I put in water conditioner, washed the tank and the rocks and the plant all before adding the fish. Also the inside of the tank (above water level) has condensation on it. What should I do??

I am hearing that the reported PSI of a pit bull's PSI being far greater than even the Rottweiler's PSI of 1500-1800 is false and that in reality, it can't be measured. Is this true?

My 4 month old male rottweiler is very attached to me. For example if he is in a dead sleep snoring and I get up to go to the bathroom he will jump up and follow me in, If i move more than 3 feet away from him he will get up and move closer. I do not mind this behavior (I think its cute) and he is socialized regularly I am just concerned that as he gets older he will become over protective of me and growl at strangers and such.
Is this likely to happen? should I discourage this attatchment?

Are they crammed in with other cats in a cage. Ignored and not fed. Put in a back room to wait? How long do they have to wait? Do they smell danger coming?

Reason: My adopted kitten was rescued by a volunteer from being put to sleep and taken to a no kill shelter three hours away. She seems to have been mistreated and doesn't want to be touched.

Does anyone know what goes on or doesn't go on in the death waiting room?

My dog is already one year old but when someone comes home and pets her, she automatically pees right on the spot. It gets really tiring because it's been a year and I don't know what to do. I know that when she was a puppy her previous owner's family would abuse her. Is that why she pees when she gets scared or even excited. I mean she has a serious problem and My family and I lover her a lot and we just want to help her cure her problem. I mean she pees when I say no, with a mean tone and when we come home and just pet her, she would pee. Thankyou and i hope there's a solution.

Our 6 mo old male cat was recently neutered. When picked up, the vet tech told us to keep him away from our female spayed cats for a few days because he would become aroused. I never heard anything like this before. Is this common? I've never raised a male cat (only females), so I don't know what to expect from his behavior. Any advice would help.

My daughter wants a calf. She wants to bottle feed it (just for fun) will it drink from a bottle (if just taken from mother 2 months old) and can you give it milk from the grocery store?

Will it get sick (diahhrea) from this milk?

Don't trust necessarily that I will get the truth from the cow man. He may say what I want to hear, not the reality.

My 1 year old Jack Russel Terrier only barks when someone knocks on the door. However, it takes her awhile before she stops, usually the person has to pet her. I am totally against shock collars for barking, but it can get really irritating sometimes. Im not sure if there is anything I can do to stop her barking, I have tried punishing her, it just does not seem to work. Any suggestions?

My dog is a sweet heart to me and my parents. She is puddy in my hands. She is how u would want a dog to be. She loves to play and give kisses (too many kisses) However she is also very over protective of me (exspecially) and my parents. when people come into the house she is very agressive and barks a lot. She has never tried to bite someone but i dont want to see it get to that point. Once the person is at the house for a while she calms down. But the next time that person comes she is the same way (crazy). The only 2 people who dont live in my house that she isnt like this for is my brother and his wife, which is wierd because they live across the counrty and rarely come by the house (maybe she knows their family). We usually hold my dog back when people come to the house but i have been told that makes it worse and gets my dog more worked up. So now we just let her go and she barks alot (viciously) and jumps at people. But like i said she hasnt bitten anyone (yet).

I bought him two scratching poles. One he can chill in. Its a carpeted kitty condo. He lays on that and looks out the window.

Another one is just a pole with carpet on it. He will not use it. I've tried putting treats on it, and cat nip but nothing.

Ohh yeah another question...
how can I make him sleep in his cat bed?

I hear people argue all the time about which one is more intelligent. If you ask me who cares how intelligent they are, but which one do you think is more useful.
