I am seeing more and more video blogs about pit bulls but its very un-informative. Are there people trying to ban the owning/selling/breeding of pitbulls? if so who are they? is PETA involved? I thought they were for the ethical treatment? If this goes through can they force an american to sign over their dog even if it passes a temperament test?

how can i help her gain weight?

she was the runt of the litter, always been a little on the skinny side. one summer we lived in nyc in an apartment with no a/c and she barely ate all summer. once the winter came she started eating better and gained weight, she looks good now. but shes still not chubby or anywhere near fat, like a pug should be.

is she just always going to be a tiny/thin pug because of that important summer of growth that she missed when she was young and wouldnt eat.. or is there something i can do to help her put on weight? thanks!

Hi all, I have a 5 month old chihuahua puppy which I love very much and found out I'm pregnant with my first child. Has anyone had a chihuahua and young babies or kids? Was the chihuahua good with kids? I'm worried about both the chihuahua hurting the baby or the baby hurting the chihuahua.

My one year old mutt dog is vary fast, and I'm trying to teach her to catch frisbees. I have taught her that it is all about fun playing, and she is not afraid of the disc anymore. She will jump and grab the disc from my hand if it is standing still, and she can catch it in her mouth if it flies straight, and only within around 10 feet of me. If I throw it farther, she runs after it, and is always underneath it, but does not catch it. Is this just an issue that needs practice, or is there something that I can do better in training her to be able to make better catches?

My wife and I just rescued a puppy from the shelter. My wifes mom is in town for a month so she has been watching the puppy during the day.(we both work) Its starting to get cold and the dog has short hair so I dont want to leave her outside during the winter, but I dont want her to tear apart the house during the day. Would it be to much to put the dog in another room for 7-8 hours aday while we were at work inside. ????Its not a tiny room, and we could "puppy proof it"

My dogs bark all day long while I'm at work, which is obviously driving my poor neighbors insane!! The citronella bark collars worked for awhile until my dogs figured out how they work, and now they maneuver the collars so they don't go off when they bark (smart little suckers)...
