I just got the fish yesterday, the water was not cloudy last night. I put in water conditioner, washed the tank and the rocks and the plant all before adding the fish. Also the inside of the tank (above water level) has condensation on it. What should I do??

There is a lot more to having an aquarium than buying all the stuff and throwing fish in. Water quality is crucial to thriving healthy fish. All tanks have to "cycle", there is a chemical balance that has to take place to keep the bacteria from creating a "bloom" or "cloud". Most recommend that you either cycle with a chemical that you can buy at your local fish store (without fish in the tank) or start with one or two starter fish. Adding a bunch of fish to a new tank creates ammonia spikes(ammonia comes from food and waste breaking down in the tank) that the bacteria in the tank can't handle yet and it can kill the fish. Adding fish slowly creates a small amount of ammonia and lets the bacteria build up enough to break it down without harming the fish. You should get a chemical test kit and check your nitrate and nitrite levels. Take the results to a reliable and reputable fish store and they should be able to help you get things back in balance.
Here is a link to a great website that can explain the process much better than I can as well as anything else you need to know. Good Luck!!

you may try and put fish in a bowl and empty your tank with the water. re wash all of the rocks and plants and tank again. dry the tank and then add rocks and plants try and put some of the following aqua safe in the water as you fill the tank again. let water filter run about a few minutes and then add fish back to it if you have any stress guard then add to water and help the fish from not stress out .
hope this help. i had to do this last week with two tanks. i lost a few fish in mind.

When I had my fish tank I would let the water clear up before putting the fish back in. Make sure you pump is not clogged or stopped working. They also have some conditioner that goes in the water to.

A lot of new tanks get cloudy. All it means is the bacteria is free floating, give it a few days and it should clear up on its own.

Do a partial water change. About 25% should be changed. Then give it a day to settle.
