I took him to vet but the doc didn't know what's wrong with him. He's usually very active (a bit hyperactive) and eats a lot. For the last 2 days, he didn't jump, only sit around,walk slowly & barely eats anything. He doesn't look sick, no bowel problems, still wigling his tail, his nose is still wet (but not running), no fever. We don't know what to do. Any help and suggestions are very appreciated.

My daughter didn't put her dinner away and the puppy got it. He acted fine yesterday, just had the gas. Was playing eating and drinking. today he wanders around fine but I can tell he doesn't feel well.

My horse has been losing weight since July. A vet floated his teeth and he has continued losing. Another vet told us to feed him strictly oats. A third vet found sand in his stool. He gave me psyllium and told me to mix it with brown sugar. My horse is so picky and won't touch it. I've tried mixing it with his grain and he picks around it. He has lost so much weight-I don't want to mess around too long trying to get him to eat this-if anyone knows of anything else to try I'd REALLY appreciate it!! I've read about flavored psyllium supplements, do these work as well as the psyllium powder?

I've had my cat for 3 years and he has never done anything bad, has always used the litterbox...yesterday he peed on the carpet by the door and he is always sniffing over in that area..my other cat is now pregnant, could it have anything to do with that? why would he pee like that when he never has before?

Recently, I was going downstairs to work, so I gave my small, white, (usually) harmless maltipoo (maltese and poodle mix) a Greenie (a type of bone) to chew on. As I was leaving, I reached down to pet her, and she growled. Stupidly on my part, I kept going, thinking she wasn't serious. In return, she jumped up and began basically attacking me. I have several bruised bites on my arms and legs. Is this something to be worried about? She's never done anything like this before. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do to discipline her after this (I can't put her in her crate because of fear of more attacking, can I?) And a spray of water won't be harsh enough. I know this sounds mean, but she needs to know she can't get away with attacking me (and by discipline, I don't want anyone to think that I'm like, hitting her or anything. Just so you know.)

Does anyone know good Japanese Sheba Inu breeders? Or have that type of dog to tell me the personality of it. Also, how much do they cost because someone told me they are a rare breed? Right now I have a golden retriver who gets along very well with other dogs. I am an aspiring dog trainer who would like to train different types to learn different personalities. The Japanese Sheba Inu captured my heart because of it's graceful fox-like features. Anybody that has any infomation on this animal please let me know. Thank You.

My cat has been missing for a few days, but she does this sometimes then comes back.(She is an inside/outside cat. And we live in a very small town. So I don't worry to much when she goes away for a few days.) But she was gone a day or two longer then normal, but I did not really think anything of it. Then this morning I noticed that my neighbors had not taken out their trash yet, and they were not home. So I decided I would take it out for them. They have two cans. One of the cans was much lighter then the other, so I thought maybe I could fit whatever is in the light can in the other one. (You know save them from having to carry back up two cans when they got home.) Well I opened the lighter can, and inside it was my cat! They had run her over, and the worst part is that they did not even tell me!!!

my friend had two cats and was forced to give up one,missy a female, which i have now i live in a two bedroom apartment with another girl who already has a cat (10 yrs old) the two cats have had two accidental meetings both resulting in hissing currently missy is confined to my room because i am afraid of what would happen if i let her out, the older cat has claws while missy is declawed this being my main concern i have never had to deal with introducing two new cats to each other especially with these circumstances please help?

For the past week or so my dog's stomach has been making these noises, kinda like the noises our stomachs make when we are hungry. She had diarrhea for a few days, but now her stool is solid. However, the noises are still there and this morning she didn't eat her food, which is not like her. But she did eat grass this morning, which I know dogs to when they aren't feeling well. Her attitude seems fine, last night for instance she seemed her normal self. I don't yet want to take her to the vet b/c, but I will if this continues on for a few more days. What I would like to know is if anyone has ever gave their dog some pepto bismol. I have heard of people giving their dogs pepto in the tablet form. Is this harmful to them or do you know any other remedies for an upset stomach?
