A cocker, if it's well-groomed. I feel so sorry for long-haired dogs (and even worse for cats) who are not well-groomed. They must be so uncomfortable! But a silky little cocker spaniel with that always-puppy look is quite charming. Boxers are for men; cockers for women.

Boxers are not only cuter, but great family dogs. I have had a bad experience with cocker spaniels - their temperament is not always friendly.
