HI! ALL female dogs come into HEAT every 6 months first week coming into it second week to third week is when you really have to keep it away from males. that is their cycle time. if you are planning on breeding her do NOT do it until she is 2 years or older as their bodies are not fully matured until then.Also only breed her for the purpose to improve the traits of the chihuahuas. I have one and it was her first litter she had 6 pups but very hard time.IM NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU BUT I ALMOST LOST HER A WEEK LATER. so please think real hard on the breeding part. BYE THE WAY IM NOT A BREEDER JUST MY OPINION AND EXPERIENCE. SHE IS GETTING FIXED NEXT MONTH. HOPE THIS HELPS

canines commonly pass into warmth each and every 6-8 months tiny canines and great canines have a tendency to not have their first warmth till they're over twelve months outdated remember while you're making plans on breeding you mustn't breed a canine under 2 years outdated and you mustn't breed a canine under 5lbs

as far as i know they come in to HEAT (not period) twice a year like most dogs. you should spay her as they are so small they can have problms iving birth and breeding this breed is not for eiexperienced breeders.

You should have your dog spayed before she gets pregnant. We don't need any more dogs in the world right now..
