We just got a bigger tank for my fish and one of them decided to go nuts and just swim in circles against the tank wall. He didn't do that in the old tank. Any suggestions?

U did the main appropriate element with therapy. Ur fish have been given right into a combat and that i think of he have been given overwhelmed up extraordinarily undesirable. whilst u wiped clean out the ten gal. tank, did u upload some Amquel? (to get rid of chorine) ? New water isn't stable until u combination many of the previous water. the rationalization is BB (Benificial micro organism). maximum fish keepers basically replace as much as a million/2 of the water. The term biking potential something to U? a clean tank of water desires to be cycled in the previous any fish is placed in there or upload Amquel. If u do not....The fish is going into marvel and could die.

He could be stressed. Go to you local petstore and purchase some "stress coat". Add the proper amount to your tank (read lable) and this will replace the slime coating (protects the fish) that fish lose when stressed, and it will help him calm down, also get a bacteria starter, fish need a certain amount of good bacteria in their tanks you should use both of these products when moving or doing water changes

(when changing fish to a larger home always move as much of original water with them to keep their good bacteria)
(when doing water changes only remove 25% of water once a month-dont' forget to add stress coat and a bacteria starter(add the amount for how ever much water you replaced.)
